Other speeches include present information about diabetes and diet-related illnesses and healthy cooking demos and workshops here in Texas and around the United States. Currently, I’m working with the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center to present a series of LUNCH AND LEARN classes each month. I was the Interim Director of The Carver Museum in 1988. I’m passionate about the Museum and have worked with the staff for several years presenting history/culinary-based programs and lunch/dinner events to draw attendees to visit the Museum and to educate them about the African and AfricanAmerican history and cuisine. I also teach a culinary class at the HACA Booker T. Washington housing residences for parents who
