Spiral Product Design year in industry

- Placement year 52 weeks

Junior Designer Producing CAD visual designs and technical drawings for live briefs from clients like Made.com, Anthropologie, Conteny by Conran, Mackenzie-Childs. Responsible for the 3D visuals and presentation of ideas to client .

Spiral Product Design Examples of design work I was associated with over the placement year that is now sold online: Made.com - Samson Range Made.Com had approached Spiral to try and create a bathroom range from their existing strip metal design. This was to creatively inspire the range and create a collection for customers to buy into. They were asking for the addition of the range to include mirrors, shelving, freestanding toilet roll holders and towel rails as well as a caddy. These would all match the exisiting base colour black Iron.

- Mora Oval Table Made.Com were requesting a concept for a six-seater oval table featuring a glass table top and brass legs. In the end the final design was to use many individual brass rods that go diagonally over one another with the addition of oval structural supports to create a solid support base to hold the glass table top.
