Milk for the household

- Starpack Individual Project 4 weeks

Brief To design the next generation of milk bottle packaging in the form of a 2-pint fresh milk bottle made from plastic.

-HDPE -Shiny gloss lid and matte white bottle -Recyclable material

Design

-Slick and smooth - Pink, Black, White all associated with Cow milk


What is milky?. Spout Milk is poured out the bottle through the spout, which has been designed to prevent spillages.

An elegantly advanced method of the packaging of milk. A HDPE plastic, with a colour palette associated around milk. Suttle for all of the family household to appreciate.

Handle To help with holding and pouring the milk, an elegantly designed handle is their to assist you.

Lid The lid is fully capable of being taken off and being placed back on, secure enough to prevent any milk to escape.

Mediband The Band For Fest

Brief To design a new or innovative promotional item that can be used, with a brand or logo included on it. The production costs must not exceed ÂŁ2.50 + VAT, based on 10,000 units.

What is Mediband? A health database stored within a USB, worn on the wrist. Assisting medics with medical history of the patient. The product is versatile enough to be worn in day to day life. Wristband The bands are made from silicone, allowing flexibility to suit the users demands. The design doesn’t restrict air to flow through the wrist, preventing uncomfortability.

ID A personalisable tab allows basic information to be passed over if the user is unable to do so.

USB A 1GB usb stores all medical information and the history of the user. Assisting medical teams with valuable information.

Dream Aura The Body Clock Remedy

Problem. delayed sleep phase syndrome.

Brief To design or innovate a product that will improve health and wellbeing, by encouraging and / or enabling better sleep.

Tackling this disorder could have gone many ways. I prioritised the users senses to overcome their circadian rhythm body clock delay. The key was to initiate the melatonin hormone in a “normal� body clock, to one that matches the rest of society.

Scent Output The aromatherapy scent will be distributed out a cylindrical chamber

Lighting A frosted shade, combined with a warm coloured LED will transmit a red light, which fades out during the night.

Aromatherapy Chamber The diffused air and steam will flow from the base through the viewing chamber and out the top of the product. The transparency allows the user to understand whats happening.

Control Panel Three buttons control the product. A power button for the light and aromatherapy. Multiple presses alter the feature used. The other buttons alter the brightness and scent intensity.


Dream Aura. A sleeping device proven to tackle delayed sleep phase syndrome. Using warm lighting and aromatherapy scents, the device will influence the melatonin hormone, causing the user to feel tired in normal society hours.

Brief To design an innovative new product for the ‘Blox’ product range to be sold in Wilko stores across the UK. Supported by in-depth research into your chosen field.

Rolled Mat

Blox World starts with a rolled up mat, containing the world imprint with the silicone blox pieces mould.

Un-Rolled Mat

Blox World un rolls into a 840 x 1188mm size playmat, the child can easily view colour themed continents, along with identifying countries.

Blox Pieces

Architectural attractions across the world, will be availble to purchase. Each has to be built from scratch from the existing blox pieces.

Storage

Just roll up and store away when not in use.


Architectural Monument

Once the child has finished the instructions to build the attraction, a replica model of that design should have been created.

Map It!

The completed architecural monument can then be positioned onto the map, challenging the childs geographical knowledge.

Collect and Complete!

Collect and build all the architectural attractions, filling the map and learning about each monument.
