I always said to myself that I wanted to work in the visual communication, with the aim of making messages pass which are worth it, to make people think in a subtle way and to awaken their curiosity. I was not really conscious that the major part of the work of graphic designer today, concerned the advertising and worked in favor of the mass consumption. I do not want to be forced to produce images which please only the customer, without contributing two cents there. I do not want to feel forced or to be forced to realize a command order literally to sell always more. The situation today is a little blocked, but it is always possible to manage to communicate what we wish in a intelligent way and moved to affect people in their feelings, to evoke a reflection and not their compulsive shopping. It seems to me that we can communicate visually on many subjects, so much whom we are in agreement with our convictions. Everything depends on the idea which we want to communicate, the designers represent people in ads according to the target at which they aim. For example, to sell some soap, they often choose a beautiful woman, half naked, as a car, it is a handsome man with eyes to ember which is driving. Families are model, the children are cute and funny, even dogs are nice. The people whom one we see on ads are very often beautiful. They serve to make the consumer dream so that he buys the product. It is a little bit annoying because advertisements for cosmetics always present wonderful women, but the spot is very often to be deceitful. Only certain brand opts for the transparency as Dove and its campaign with the round women, what changes a little. The funny advertisements hiring of the ugly actors to strengthen their message. It is necessary to adapt itself to the message which we want to give, by choosing actors who suit perfectly in the theme of start. The materials which we use are diverse and varied. Indeed, the designer uses many communication medium. Bulletin boards, posters, flyers, business cards, facades of stores, commercials, banners, Web sites, photography.. And especially a lot of various paper. Some pay attention in impacts them ecological by choosing recycled materials or biodegradable, so much say that others follow the trend of every man for himself. It always has to exist and is not to stop. The marketing street is as well present on the advertising market. It is doubtless the way which I prefer to make its message understand in the largest number. It is funny, unexpected, and creative To make some good design, it is enough to know if we want to communicate messages which make people think or just them urge to consume even more. It is a choice to be made not obvious because there is less and less designer who worries about the culture and about the reflection of the citizens. The images which surround us are mass-produced without just soul because the commercial sector is more lucrative than the cultural, and it is a great pity to get to this point.
