WELCOME TO BREAK THROUGH CONFERENCE [BTC] 2015

gives me great joy to welcome everyone of us including all those attending this conference for the first time to Break Through Conference (BTC) 2015. This is an annual conference in Victory House and it is also a time of prayer and fasting. Every year at this programme, God visits us with special testimonies and there are many amongst us who are yet to recover from the testimonies of last year's BTC. The fact that we are alive to witness this year's BTC is a proof that we serve a living God, the One who has kept us alive to see another year and another special programme. The theme of this year's BTC is special and unique. it is taken from Isaiah 8:18. "Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion." There will be a lot of sermon you will hear this month around this theme. God has prepared and anointed his servants afresh and He will use them to bless us mightily this month. God is looking for those who are expectant with their 'amens' during this conference. For it is expectant 'amens' that will produce great spiritual manifestations. True signs and wonders come from only one source, The Lord of Host. The message contained in the Open Heavens at the beginning of the month of November once again confirms what God is set to do amongst us. Without prior knowledge of the Open Heavens devotional messages, the Lord had seen the end from the beginning and had spoken through the mouth of His son, our General Overseer and has put words in his mouth to confirm what He is set to do during BTC 2015. The bible says that out of two or three witnesses, every matter shall be established. I am confident therefore that there is someone attending this conference that the God of wonders will turn into a bundle of signs and

wonders. The signs that will make unbelievers to believe, God will do those through us in the name of Jesus. I want you to be excited and expectant all through this conference for the great and mighty things that God will do. “Here am I” is an announcement, the Almighty God will cause a divine announcement to come through you. Those who have been wondering that where is your God, they will see the testimonies of your God this month. Whatever has caused you to be in hiding, the Almighty God will bring you to the fore front in the name of Jesus. “Here am I” is the language of a testifier, the Lord will give you the words and the language of a testifier in the name of Jesus. However, the good news is that you are not alone in this journey to break through. Part of Isaiah 8:18 says "......I and the children whom the Lord has given me!...." There is somebody here who will testify like this. The Bible says none in our midst shall be barren. That is why I am very confident that this will be our most fruitful conference ever in the name of Jesus Christ. In a year's time when we shall gather again for this conference, there is a person here who is attending this conference with her husband but then you will be saying what this testimony is saying in Jesus’ name. For those the Lord have already given children, you will return and you won't be ordinary but you will be announcing signs and wonder because that is who you are in Christ Jesus. “and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimonies...” Rev.12:11 Three years ago doctors diagnosed one of my grand-daughters with a congenital heart condition and they said she would not be able to walk or live long. I attended the Breakthrough Conference that year and three years on, God has fulfilled His promise which said that my granddaughter would not only live, walk and talk, but she would excel. She has been confirmed to be the most intelligent student in her class and has been given a double promotion at the private school she attends. To God be the glory. Halleluyah! – Pastor Mary McCauley I give God all the glory for His mercy and favour over my children and myself after being a victim of a curse for a while, but thankfully, God delivered me. We are all alive to the glory of God. At BTC 2010, the God that does hard things showed up Himself as the evil man fell into the pit he dug. Amen. – Progress Etacherure Pastor Olaitan kept on repeating it on Sunday that there shall be no evil news. Today, I got news from Nigeria that the electricity socket in my children’s bedroom caught fire. My sister who was looking after them was not at home at the time of the incident, but thankfully, the children did not panic. They started shouting for help and people came round to help them. I thank God that I did not receive evil news from home. Praise the Lord! – Olubukola Bekes I came from Nigeria to do my Masters programme over here in 2012, but along the line, I developed health problems. To the glory of God, I’ve finished my Masters programme. I left my job and everything I had in Nigeria to come to study, but I thank God by the time I was to leave back to Nigeria, I left with a distinction.

I lost my job sometimes ago due to illhealth, but I thank God for the restoration. Last month, I was called for an interview, but didn’t get the full details until a day before the interview. I asked God for favour and to the glory of God, I was the first person they called. I answered all the questions they asked and while on my way home, I received a call from them to say, I was the preferred candidate. I thank God for favour. I prayed to God sometimes ago to make the Holy Spirit wake me up at a certain time and I thank God for being my alarm clock as He has been waking me up at 5.am on the dot every day. I also asked God to grant me the enablement to see things before they happen and that has been happening to me as I often times have dreams where I see exactly what is going to happen, two days before they happen. I thank God for hearing my prayer and granting me my desires – Lisa Ogundare I always look forward to the BTC meetings because it’s always a special time for me as it coincedes with my birthday month, so I’m always expectant. After the service last Sunday, I went home to prepare for an interview I had this week, but during the night, I suddenly discovered while sleeping that I couldn’t move. I saw an image of a being which had no body but had eyes. I was terrified, to the extent that I couldn’t pray but I just kept on saying “Jesus”. Suddenly, the apparition disappeared. And by the time I got up from the bed, I realised that my leg was hurting. I felt the pain would soon subside, but by the time I got back from work yesterday, the pain had become so bad to the extent that I was limping. The leg had swollen and I wondered where the attack came from. I decided I wasn’t going to allow anything to steal my joy and I was going to come to church whatever the case may be. Today, I was still limping on my way to church and even during the service I was

still feeling the pain in my leg. But during the praise and worship, as I was praising God, I suddenly realised I could no longer feel the pain. Praise the Lord Few years ago, I lost my husband in a motor accident along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway. I thank the Lord for not allowing affliction to arise in my life the second time. I had an accident on my way to church. My daughter who was in Nigeria called me to say that she would be travelling to Lagos the next day and she was terrified about the trip. I told her that there shall be no evil report and affliction will not rise a second time. She was driving along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway at the time I had the accident here in London, but to the glory of God, she texted me few minutes ago to say that she had arrived in Lagos safely. I thank God that I too came out unscathed from the accident I had. I give God the glory. – Pastor Yinka I thank God that since I came to Victory House, great and mighty things have been happening in my life. I also thank God that this month is my birthday and I feel special knowing that we always have a programme during my birthday month. I also want to thank God because I’ve just been promoted to the position of a deputy manager at my work place. I thank God because I know my God is a God of promotion and not demotion. I thank Him because I know He will always be promoting me. I thank God for bringing me here today because my car stopped working on my way to church, but I decided I have to be in church whatever the case may be. Someone came to help me in restarting the car and he advised me not to drive the car for a while, but I insisted on getting to church with the car and to the glory of God, I’m here. Praise God.

At the last BTC 2014, I asked the Lord to give my daughter a new pair of lungs because she has been in and out of the hospital since she was five months. I thank God that since last November till now, I haven’t had any cause to take her to the hospital for any reason. Also at the last BTC, I asked God to bless me and my husband with another child. To the glory of God, we had another child this year. Praise God! The Lord Almighty gave me the grace to see another year. I had a lot of challenges regarding my health, but God saw me through. I return all the glory to Him for divine health. – Sis Abimbola Noble I thank God for the covenant of healing and health. I used to have a health issue sometimes ago. Whenever it came on me, it would be as though I had a 50 ton load on my chest. Whenever I experience this, I wouldn’t be able to breathe or turn my chest. I went to the GP and nothing happened until one day when I collapsed at work. They gave me some medication but that made the situation worse. They eventually sent me for a surgery and everything returned to normal. I thank God for the miracle I received at the BTC 2014. Apostle Williams while ministering, said, “There is someone in the congregation who has a spine problem. Receive a new spine!” I received that word of prophesy by faith and since that day, I haven’t use any pain killer. Praise the Lord! I give God the glory for being amongst the living today. I thank God for making it possible for me to see the 29th of November. I thank God for the success of my marriage blessing. The plan of the enemy was for me to set a date and not to be around on that date, but the enemy failed. Sometimes in June, I was getting things together when I suddenly started to feel weak in my body. Then, my husband was living outside London and I was living alone. I felt strength draining from me so I had to go to the hospital. I asked them to keep me at the hospital for the weekend, but before I knew what was happening, what I thought was a routine check turned into a full blown illness. They diagnosed me as having no white blood cell. And that my organs were shutting down. It felt like a bad dream. I had to send for my parents in Nigeria. Eventually, they told my husband that I had only days to live. At a point, I and my mum started to do night prayer walks at the corridor of the ward where I was staying. At a point,

they had to put a drip in my belly in order to feed me. My weight had dropped from 58 kg to 42kg. The doctors said they couldn’t allow me to go home because I had become too skinny. I realised the prayer walk was working so I kept on doing it, but at a point I couldn’t do it because they needed to use the corridor. A lot of things happened along the way, but I thank God I eventually came out alive. To God be the glory! – Sis Morayo I want to thank God for the recently concluded BTC 2014. On the fourteenth day of the BTC programme, I was on my way to the programme and I stopped on the way to buy a wig. While trying the wig on in the shop, I saw something, so I told the seller; I would come back for the wig. As I was going home, I was praying and covering myself with the blood of Jesus. I began reading the book, “Command your Helpers”. I always read this book every day. That very day, my husband was assaulted at work. He had been working there for seven years without being assaulted, but that very day, he was assaulted. Six men assaulted him and while they were at it, one of them suddenly asked the rest to stop because there were cameras around, watching. My husband could not continue the shift and had to go home. This seemed to be the best thing the Lord did for us during the BTC. I thank God for His divine protection over my family. I praise God for his faithfulness and mercy over me and my children. All the prayer requests I made at last year’s BTC has been fulfilled. I have been seeing signs and wonders this year. I thank the God of Victory House for all these signs and wonders. I thank God for His protection over my family. On the 22nd of November, just after the BTC, my mum sent a message to me to inform that my sister’s son had an accident. This was someone who prior to having this child rarely had her periods. She experienced her periods only once a year. But despite this, God gave her a son. The boy was hit by a trailer. He lost his front tooth and had to be admitted into the hospital. To the glory of God, the boy is now hale and hearty and is running all over the place. Secondly, I asked God for two things during BTC 2014. I wanted a new place of abode and I also prayed for my mum. She had been unwell for some time; having a spinal cord problem. I thank God my mum is now fully healed. She now walks unaided. I

give glory to God. I also thank God for solving my accommodation problem. I thank God for His faithfulness and for all He has done for me in the year 2014. I thank God for the grace to get married during the year. I also want to seize the opportunity to thank the church and all those who stood by us and those who ministered during the wedding. Also, my grandmother who happens to be a staunch Muslim (The Iya Adinni of Nigeria) died on Wednesday. I thank God that she gave her life to Christ before dying. I heard she actually asked the nurses to read the word of God to her. I thank God for her life because she lived to a full age of 91 years. She lived to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had riches, but she didn’t have Christ. I thank God she was saved before her demise. We had been praying for her soul and on behalf of myself and my family, I’d like to thank God for granting our wishes and saving her soul. – Mrs Akomolafe I thank God because since last year when I came for the BTC programme and was anointed at the altar, a lot of good things have been happening to me. I also thank God because sometime ago, my son was caught for over speeding while driving my car. He begged me not to tell his dad about it and I promised him that though I won’t tell his dad about it but I would tell my God about it. To the glory of God, he was not charged for the incident. During the BTC 2011 programme, the devil struck in my family with the spirit of death, but to the glory of God, Jehovah overthrew that power. In 2012 and 2013, the spirit of death struck again, but the Lord as always intervened faithfully. However, this year, the spirit of death struck again. Our father in the Lord had prophesied, saying the spirit of death was trying to manifest itself in someone’s life, but God has arrested the spirit. Unknown to me, one of my family members was gasping for breath. I interceded in prayer for him and to the glory of God, he came back to life. Secondly, I was summoned to a meeting by my bosses at work, but on the day of the meeting, I arrived in the venue very early and I began to prophesy in tongues. The enemy wanted to use unfounded allegations to unseat me from my place of work, but to the glory of God, I faced the panel and came out victorious. DIVINE AMAZEMENT "Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; 3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him." WHAT IS DIVINE AMAZEMENT?

hatever is of God is called divine. Divine amazement is the act of God that causes an amazement. Amazement means overwhelming surprise. Amazement means astonishment, It means wonder. It is the act of God that brings surprise and the miraculous and causes men to wonder. When people saw the miracle and wonder of God upon the man who has been lamed since birth, they were filled with amazement. Our God confirms His character and nature by doing amazing and wondrous things both in heaven and on earth. He is a God that does amazing things, wondrous things, astonishing things, and surprising things. In Daniel 6:27 NKJV "[27] “He delivers and rescues, And He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions." Also the book of Job says in Job 9:10 NKJV "[10] He does great things past finding out, Yes, wonders without number." According to Acts 3:10, When the miracle of the lame man happened, the people were filled with wonder and amazement. In Mark 5:4143, when the dead daughter of Jairus was raised from the dead, the people were said to be overcome with great amazement according to Verse 42. A blind and dumb man was healed by Jesus in Matt.12:22-23. The multitude saw it and they were amazed. That is divine amazement in action for you. Even in their amazement, they remembered the scriptures and began to ask themselves questions. They asked, Could this be the Son of David? In Mark 1:27, when the Lord commanded a demon spirits to leave a man possessed, the bible says the people were all amazed. They questioned themselves and asked: What is this? With authority does he commands demons and they obey him? It is interesting to note that questioning always follows a divine amazement. In Mark 2:12, when a paralytic man was healed, all the Pharisees and Sadducees that were there were amazed, they said "we never saw anything like this before." These people were Professors of Law and Religion in their own days and thought they knew it all, but the amazement of what God did left them in confusion. I prophesy to you today, God will do miracles in your life that will confound 'Pharisees' and 'Sadducees' around you in the name of Jesus. In Mark. 6:48-51, the disciples were travelling in the boat. The wind blew against them, they were struggling to keep the boat afloat, then Jesus appeared walking on the sea. He entered their boat and immediately, the storm ceased. verse 51 says They were greatly amazed. Amazed that He walked on water and that as soon as He entered their boat, the storm ceased. Today as Jesus enters your boat all the wind beating against you shall cease, in the name of Jesus. THE ATMOSPHERE OF DIVINE AMAZEMENT Divine Amazement is inevitable whenever God intervenes in the affairs of men. When God moves in your situation, you will experience Divine Amazement. When God remembers you and does a wonder in your life, people are bound to be amazed. God Almighty is more than able to do many things that will result in divine amazement. GOD CAN DO MANY THINGS THAT RESULT IN DIVINE AMAZEMENT. 1. WHEN BONDAGE IS TURNED TO FREEDOM. Acts 3:1-10. This man

has been in bondage from his mother's womb. The power of God stepped into his situation and he was set free. He became a candidate for divine amazement. In the same way, irrespective of any bondage and captivity you might be in right now, you are becoming a candidate for Divine Amazement because God will step into your situation and break the yoke of bondage in Jesus' mighty name. 2. WHEN BARRENNESS IS TURNED TO FRUITFULNESS, THE FRUITFUL BECOMES THE CANDIDATE FOR DIVINE AMAZEMENT. Sarah became a candidate for divine amazement. she herself said it in Gen.21:1,7 NKJV "1And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken. 7She also said, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age." Long ago, my wife went to the hospital to have some big fibroids removed from her womb. On the day the operation was to take place, she began to sing praises unto God and to worship the King of Glory. By the time surgery was about to commence, the surgeons were looking for the fibroids and couldn't find any. They had to call some other surgeons in to come and see a "come and see" miracle that has taken place and they were all amazed. I pray for you today, in any area of your life where there has been any form of barreness, the Lord will create a divine amazement for you in the name of Jesus. 3. WHEN GOD TURNS A HOPELESS SITUATION AROUND FOR YOU. When He reverses the irreversible, divine amazement is the result. It is inevitable that those around you will be amazed. In Mark,5:41-43, the daughter of Jairus was dead. They had told Jesus not to bother coming anymore because the case had moved from bad to worse, it had become hopeless. But the specialist in hopeless cases went there and the result was divine amazement. I prophesy to you that in the name of Jesus, this is your season to dance; those who think your case is hopeless will be filled with wonder and amazement in Jesus' name. The Bible says in Job 14:7 NKJV "For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease." There is hope for you in Jesus name. 4. WHEN LONG STANDING REPROACH IS CANCELLED. When repeated failure turns to success, that is a case of divine amazement. The man in Acts 3 has been lame for FOURTY years and brought to the same location repeatedly every day. In John 5: 1-9, the man has been crippled for thirty-eight years. His problem started from the womb, but when the God of divine amazement came in , there was a reversal of the situation. 5. WHEN GOD STEPS INTO YOUR SITUATION, TO CANCEL SORROW AND RESTORE YOUR STOLEN JOY, THOSE AROUND ARE BOUND TO BE AMAZED. Luke 7:11-17. "The son of the widow of Nain. The gate of death and sorrow lifted up their heads, the King of glory came in, he brought life and joy and terminated death and sorrow." Psalm 30:5 NKJV "For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." Isaiah 51:11 NKJV "So the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; Sorrow and sighing shall flee away." In the name of Jesus, You will become an obtainer, container and retainer of joy and gladness. God did not say that we won't have trying times, but He said we shall laugh last. John 16:20 NKJV "Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy." That is saying "YOU WILL LAUGH LAST AND LONGEST AND LOUDEST. VICTORY AT LAST IRRESPECTIVE OF THE TRIAL AND TRIBULATIONS YOU GO THROUGH. THOSE SAYING SORRY TO YOU NOW ARE COMING TO SAY CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU."

HOW DO I BECOME A CANDIDATE FOR DIVINE AMAZEMENT. 1. Surrender your life to Jesus. The lame man fixed his eyes on the Carriers of Jesus. You must look unto Jesus because He is the author and finisher of your faith. (Heb. 12:2) 2. Call upon God in praise and prayer. Blind Bartimeaus and Hannah, the mother of prophet Samuel did these and the Lord turned them into a divine amazement. 3. Don't ever resign yourself to faith. Be hopeful. Be expectant.

God goes forth from the altar, always be ready to jump in especially if it applies to you or to the situation you are going through. 5. Sow towards the harvest of divine amazement. Peter sowed his boat as a platform for Jesus to preach. The man at the beautiful gate has always been on the receiving end while seated at the gate but for once he gave gave his attention. The Youth Ministry: A CONVERSATION BETWEEN A PARENT AND A YOUTH COUNSELLOR.

Parent: Please, at what age can my child join your ministry? Who is an RCCG YOUTH?

Parent: Wow! Are other parents aware? Please, what advice do you have for parents and church leaders about our youth?

Counsellor: Anyone who is aged 14-19 years.

Counsellor: The African mentality has to stop; timing issues when in Church; Cultural imposition by parents, they keep referring to when they were back in school etc.

Parent: Things are so different now. I can’t even communicate with her. I’ve provided everything for her. What else could the problem be? Counsellor: It goes beyond supplying their basic needs. From experience, the 5 commonest challenges of today’s Christian youth are: • Peer pressure • Following Trends • Stereotypes • Inappropriate Relationships • Other commitments

Parent: My son told me about a ‘friend’ who was being bullied at school. I’m afraid that it may really be him. What should I tell him? Counsellor: Bullying is a common problem in all age groups. You can tell him to tell his ‘friend’ to always talk to someone older or in authority about it. He shouldn’t keep it to himself.He should also be friendly to those around him. Parent: Sounds perfect! You really know and enjoy this youth ministry.

Parent: It wasn’t like this in my own time. It’s because this is the UK. Sometimes, I wish I could send her back to Nigeria!

Counsellor: I get a lot of joy from the ministry. I love seeing Transformation in the lives of our young people and watching them grow on in Christ.

Counsellor: Our African culture has a lot of impact on raising youth in the UK. First, there’s the Cultural Difference and then the Non-Acceptance of other cultures and ideas.

Parent: There are lots of influences around in today's world. Can I be a youth pastor as well?

Parent: If I can get my child to come to church, I’ll send her to you. They grew up in church but now she has stopped. I don’t even know any of her friends who attend church again. Counsellor: Generally, there’s a declining church attendance amongst our youth. There are several reasons for this: the youth this day are not spiritual enough to want to come to church; some are trying to make money;the environment doesn’t encourage church attendance; everyone seems to be used to a particular way of doing things and there is lack of encouragement from parents.

Counsellor: Well, I can’t decide that. But, I can tell you that a few good qualities to have to be a youth mentor are: 1) Being someone who understands the challenges of the youth. 2) Someone who has the spirit of God; 3)Having a teenager as a child will be an advantage. 4)Someone who is humble, can adapt and is ready to learn. Parent: Thank you so much for taking out the extra time to talk to me. Counsellor: You’re welcome.

hese scriptures reveals how wonderful words of encouragement can be in these days that we live in, when there are so many reasons to be afraid. May help arise for you in this season in Jesus’ name. There is nobody in life that does not need help from time to time. I need help, you need help, our children need help, and our nations need help. There comes a time in the life of a person, when you look left and right without anyone to help. This is because all you see around you are people who have their own problems. The good news is that problems may be everywhere around you, but when you look up, you will see the God who is able to send help from above. Ps. 121:1-2, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help; my help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” So in the passage above are great words of encouragement to the children of God, that no matter what may be happening to and around us; we should fear not. Isaiah 43:2 says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” That is God’s word to someone reading this magazine, that

even though you may be passing through the water and the fire; even though you may be walking through the valley of the shadow of death, God says, ‘Fear not, help is coming your way.”

WHAT IS HELP FROM ABOVE • • • • • •

Help from above is when God decides to step into your case. It is a divine intervention. It is when help comes from unexpected quarters. It is God doing what no man can do. Help from above is God orchestrating things to work in your favour. Help from above is a miraculous experience attributable to God alone.

WHO NEEDS HELP FROM ABOVE? SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN IN A PROLONGED PROBLEM OR A PERSON WHO IS FIGHTING A STUBBORN BATTLE. I don’t know the kind of issue that you have, and it seems there is no solution in sight. I want you to know that the God who said, ‘Fear not, I will help you’ will surely attend to that case in Jesus’ name. It could be a sickness like the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:2526, “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.” I pray for you in the name of Jesus, and I decree in the name of Jesus, that problem will not grow worse, God will intervene and there shall be a solution. This is exactly my testimony, for 8 years, I went from doctor to doctor looking for solution to my barrenness, but instead the problem grew worse. I went from pillar to post looking for solution, but nothing happened. Just like this woman, the doctors told me there was no solution, but when God, the one that can reverse the irreversible stepped in, without any further treatment, he blessed us with two miracle boys.

Therefore if barrenness is the prolonged battle in your life, I want you to know that with God all things are possible, it doesn’t matter how long you have waited, solution is here and you will soon testify in Jesus’ name. In Victory house, over the last few days, God has been blessing us with some incredible miraculous babies. We recently dedicated the baby of a couple who had been waiting for 9 years, and just a few days ago, a couple who had been waiting for 8 years were blessed with a baby girl. What a wonder working God we serve!! All these testimonies just confirm to you that it does not matter how long your waiting has been, God never forgets. Ps 30:5, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” SOMEONE WHO HAS TRIED EVERY KNOWN MEANS BUT STILL HAS NO BREAKTHROUGH. Anyone who has done everything humanly possible without any positive result is indeed in need of help. Peter said to Jesus in Lk. 5:5, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing.” He toiled all night even though he was not a baby fisherman; he did everything a fisherman knew to do. He went to sea at the right time, he used the right tools, but still he caught nothing until Jesus intervened. When Jesus intervened, the Bible says in Lk. 5:6, “They caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.” This was the same Peter who tried everything; the same Peter who toiled all night but caught nothing; but after Jesus intervened, his net was breaking because of the abundance of fishes. If you have been toiling and toiling with no breakthrough, working like an elephant, but living like an ant; I pray that God who says ‘Fear not, I will help you’ will give you a net breaking miracle in Jesus’ name. In verse 7, by the time God was through blessing Peter, he alone could not handle the blessing, he had to call people to come and help. I pray for that person that has been toiling all night that God will bless you to the extent that you will be a blessing to others in Jesus’ name. SOMEONE WHO HAS NO ONE TO HELP HIM OR HER IS A CANDIDATE FOR HELP FROM ABOVE. It is possible to look for people to help you without any positive outcome. It could be a case that there is just nobody to help, because everyone has their own problems or a case of people wanting to help, but don’t have the means to help. It could even be a case of people having the means, but they just refuse to help. Whatever the case, it boils down to the fact that there is no one to help. So I pray for you today, that God himself will take up your case and there shall be a miraculous solution in Jesus’ name. David said in Ps. 27:10, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take

me up.” May the Lord take up somebody’s case today in Jesus’ name. A good example is that of the man at the pool of Bethesda in Jn. 5:5. Jesus knew he had been in that infirmity for 38 years, he however asked him if he wanted to be healed and the man said, ‘I have no one to help me get into the pool to receive my healing’. He had no one to help him, but Jesus took up his case and made him whole. I pray for you who have no one to help him or her, that God will send help from unexpected quarters. By the time God sends help your way, even you, will know that it could only have been God. That is what is called ‘Help from above’. May that be your portion in Jesus’ name. SOMEONE WHO NEEDS A DESPERATE CHANGE. I don’t know that situation in your life today, but I know that there is no situation that God cannot redeem; there is no story that God cannot change. In 1Chro. 4:9-10, there is the story of a man called Jabez; his mother gave him that name because he caused her so much pain, and so he went about with that negative name. I don’t know the negative name the world has given you, that seems to be following you around and working against you, today God will change that name in Jesus’ name. But just as Jabez was desperate, you have to be desperate for a change as well. “And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested.” God is going to grant your request in Jesus’ name.

HOW CAN YOU POSITION YOURSELF FOR HELP FROM ABOVE? 1. Repent of all sins, and surrender your life to Jesus. Is. 59:1-2, “Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Job 8:20, “Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:” A life without Christ is a life of crisis. 2. Pursue God, obey Him totally, walk in His ways and serve Him. Gen 32:26, “Jacob said I will not let you go until you bless me.” Don’t be too far from God and say you are angry with God. Don’t forsake the gathering of believers; the woman who was in bondage for 18 years was in the church, and the Bible says, Jesus saw her in the church. Lk. 13:10. Make sure you are where the eyes of God can see you to bless you.

Serving God helps you to take your mind off the problem and focus on God alone. 3. Pray consistently Prayer works wonders. Never cease to continue in prayer. 1Thess. 5:17, “Pray without ceasing”. 1Samuel 1:27, “For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition which I asked of Him.” 4. Sow seeds for your turnaround. Keep sowing, never give up. One day, that bountiful harvest will come; never be tired of sowing. Eccl 11:6, “In the morning, sow thy seed and in the evening, withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.” Ps 126:5, “…They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.” God honours seed sowing, and that is why He gave His only begotten son; He sowed Jesus so that we can have life. Ps 20:1-4, “May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion; May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. May He grant you according to your heart's desire, and fulfill all your purpose.” PRAYERS: 1. 1Chron. 12:22, “For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.” Just as David received help day by day, ask God to send you help day by day in Jesus’ name 2. Psalms 70:5, “But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying. “Father please do not delay in helping me, make haste for my sake, do not tarry in sending me help in Jesus’ name. 3. Oh God, I lift my eyes to You my helper, remember me and pay me a visit today in Jesus’ name. 4. Oh Lord, cause Your face to shine upon me with mercy and favour in Jesus’ name. 5. I acknowledge You as my source of help and I ask that for Your name’s sake, help with the kind of help that will cause the world to know that You are my God. 6. Father, send help to Your church in Jesus’ name; send help to our parish in Jesus’ name. 7. Father, don’t allow the gates of hell to prevail against Your church in Jesus’ name. 8. Father, send Your help to our nation, and cause her to seek You in Jesus’ name. 9. ou have probably heard the saying, “Life is war.” It doesn’t matter what your battles are. God has promised us daily victory! One of the mediums that He has used to ensure this is through“Prayer WorksWonders.” How come the enemy has no problem with you being depressed and worried, loosing sleep over your troubles but at 5:30 AM(on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) sleep is the most enjoyable? Wake up! We serve a God who sees and hears – He answers prayers! At a time when strength had failed and I could see no results for all my efforts in 2015, the prayer topic was ‘Divine involvement.’ When I was so pre-occupied with telling my problems to people who could not help, we prayed about ‘The power in your mouth’ and my confession changed. The morning we prayed ‘No more stagnancy’; it killed every feeling of being a failure and gave me new hope. Don’t just stop at sowing seeds; there are prayers titled, ‘Fighting for your harvest.’ The week we prayed ‘Wake up, oh my helper’ , someone – a man I had never met - in another country helped me get a letter that I had been struggling to get for four weeks!If you joined us to pray ‘My gates of joy must open’ prayers, that means you received the joy of salvation, service, works of the hands, harvest, helpers, parenting, marriage, provision and joy forevermore. Because, you prayed ‘Recovering your family’s glory’ on 14.08.25, God transformed you into a glory recoverer.The fishes that Peter couldn’t catch at night turned into abundance when the Commander of the morning showed up. Prayers that called ‘Command the morning’ and ‘The womb of the morning’ put you in charge of your day and cause you to get to your location of success before your enemy does. The yokes from terrible foundations and the first born were shattered when we prayed, ‘Battles from the womb’. There isn’t enough time or space to tell of the numerous lives that have been transformed by an hour’s prayer. You will see some of the testimonies in nine months’ time for those who prayed ‘Divine Fruitfulness.’ God has something great in store for everyone everytime we gather to pray. There have been other prayer topics such as, Divine intervention, Trusting God, Power for your feet, Lord, strengthen my hand, Let my heavens open, The prophet shall help you, But while I was coming, Covenant of exceeding fruitfulness, Prophetic declaration for help, Arise, Dealing with the arrows of infirmity, Favour, The necessity of favour. PLEASE, READ THE TESTIMONY BELOW: Calvary greetings Sir, I was introduced to the prayer line on 21 Sept, 2015 which coincidentally was my birthday. The reference passage for that day was the Wedding at Cannan. I have heard teachings about this first miracle several times but on 21 Sept I gained a new understanding: Jesus has come to change the old order/ pattern!! I have since been hooked to the prayer line and I have been blessed by every ministration. He has indeed started changing the order of my life and gave me favour for double promotion at work. I have been at same job level for 5years. I had applied for promotion to the next level two times in my current department but wasn’t successful and they gave the job to a new less qualified and less experienced persons who I had to train.Then, a vacancy for a role that is two levels above my current role came up in another department and I applied. I went through a rigorous 3-stage interview, which was a bit unusual for internal application. To the glory of God and the shock of my current manager, God made me the “prefered candidate” for double promotion in accordance to Isa61:7 Praise God for His favour!

There are rules which are necessary for one to follow if one desires to be rich according to God’s way. In Psalm 50:10-12 the bible says; 10 “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof. THE ABOVE SCRIPTURE CONFIRMS THE FACT THAT GOD OWNS EVERYTHING ON THE EARTH AND WE, HIS CHILDREN ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ENJOYING THEM. LET’S LOOK AT GENESIS 41:33-45 Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. 34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. 35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. 36 And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine. 37 And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. 38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? 39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: 40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. 41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. 42 And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; 43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. 44 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt. 45 And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.” 33

et me start by letting you know that your best business partner is your current income. Pharaoh sent for Joseph in the prison and told Joseph all his dreams. Joseph gave a counsel to Pharaoh which I am also giving to you. He said, “In the days of plenty, retain some.” If you do not take care of your income, you have lost your greatest ally. The money you are earning now is the best partner you have when it comes to success. Once you mismanage your income, you have mismanaged your future. Most of the time, we mismanage the money we have and we then go around borrowing. If you cannot manage the income which you have worked for, you will also mismanage whatever you borrow. Joseph advised Pharaoh to keep some produce for the nation while they were still enjoying. We are so careless, so much so, we treat our income anyhow. It does not matter the kind of income you are getting, you can still set something aside. If you are going to start making financial progress, you have to start from where you are. We are always looking at what we do not have, yet we neglect what we have. No matter how small your income is, it is your best business partner. Don’t waste what you have! You will have to scale down your needs for you to have extra. To succeed in life is warfare. Financial success will not come on a platter of gold. I challenge you today, if your income has been taken over, reduce your needs and your wants so that something can be left over. If you are comfortable today, you may make yourself uncomfortable in future. Scale down your desire. Don’t mismanage your income. This will enable you have extra for the future. As a believer, it is against the

will of God to owe. There is no way you can prosper or do business when you owe. This is the first principle of prosperity. The ability to keep some out of what you currently have is the first principle of success. If you fail that, you have failed others. Luke 16:10 says; He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If you are faithful with the little that has been placed in your hands then you are getting yourself ready for much in future. A lot of people believe they need to have the required financial muscle before they can go into business. They fail to realise that business is not about money but ideas. Joseph did not go to Pharaoh with money. Pharaoh would have been stranded if Joseph had left him after interpreting his dream. Not only did Joseph interpret Pharaoh’s dream, he went a step further by giving him an idea. Pharaoh had no option than to retain Joseph in his service because he realised nobody except Joseph could manage the economy well. A prisoner was able to excel in the palace just by going there with an idea. He would have left the palace with nothing if he hadn’t given Pharaoh an idea. The idea was not part of the package. He added it! Ideas run businesses not money. The easiest thing to get is money when idea is available. There are so many rich people looking for where to invest the money. When your idea is solid, money will begin to run after it. When you say you don’t have money, what you really intend to say is that you don’t have an idea. Idea comes from wisdom. Wisdom belongs to the children of God because it belongs to God. He said if any of us lack wisdom, we should ask (James 1:5). That is why the bible emphasises the fact that wisdom is the principal thing, not money. When God prepared two people to do artisan work with Moses, he gave them wisdom. Ideas come from Godly wisdom. How do you recognise a good idea? A good idea will always bring solution. After Joseph had given his idea to Pharaoh, he realised that Joseph’s idea will bring solution to his kingdom. If you are looking for a good idea that will prosper you, I’ll encourage you to go for a retreat and prayerfully ask God for wisdom. Pray that God should open your eyes to see needs and the solution to those needs. Needs are all around us, waiting for solution. Even in our lives we have needs. If we recognise a need in our life, we can be sure that millions of people also have such a need in their lives too. Getting ideas are not as difficult as we may think. Another thing you need to know is that you will acquire useful experience by serving others diligently. If you are not doing well on your current job, don’t start a business because you will fail. If your boss cannot depend on you, don’t start your own business. Many of us are rebelling in our present place of work and yet we want to have a business that will prosper. The truth is, it will not happen. You can never pull down someone else in order to build yourself up. It will not work. If you study the life of the biblical Joseph, you will realise that he was a builder in every place he found himself. He was setting himself up for his own business. If you are going to be successful at your own business, start by helping others to run their own. Joseph was setting up himself for his own business. Help others build their business. As you do that, you are building up your own business muscle. If you are complaining about your boss, you can be sure, complaints will ruin your own business. Another important truth you need to understand is that your passion is something you have been doing all your life. If you want to know what you are passionate about, try and find out what you have always loved to do right from the time you were young. When you look at the life of Joseph, you'll notice that right from the time he was in his father's house, he had a passion for looking after the home front. When he eventually found himself in Potiphar’s house, he was assigned the same role. He also continued with his supervisory role while he was in prison. Eventually, he found himself supervising the whole nation, when he got to the palace. Start with something you are passionate about and gradually, you will see the Lord taking you higher in your chosen field. Examine your life right from your childhood days. What have you always enjoyed doing? Everybody has passion for something. If you like talking, then that's what you are passionate about. Your passion will give you a breakthrough while your job will simply pay your bills. You can never

won’t normally start off by collecting money to do it. While you are doing your job, you’ll enjoy doing your passion. You will do your passion for nothing since it’s something you enjoy doing. Before you know what is happening, you will realise your passion has overtaken your job as your main source of income. Your gift is meant to help you discover your passion and maintain it. The gift of Joseph was to interpret dreams and that gift helped him to get into what he was passionate about and to maintain it. This is why the bible says the gift of a man makes room for him. When you don’t have a passion, your gift cannot operate. There are people who have gifts but their gifts are dying because their passion is not coming out. When you kill your passion, you kill your gift. Learn to always use others to achieve what you cannot do. Pharaoh could not interpret his dream so he had to invite someone to do it (Joseph). Sometimes we have ideas which are bigger than us but because we are afraid to share it with others, we keep it inside until we kill it. You need to realise this; whatever you hide too much will eventually die. If you cover a chicken for too long, the chicken will die after a while due to lack of oxygen. If you keep your dream to yourself, it will eventually fizzle away. Caleb went to Joshua to remind him about the land he was promised by Moses. The promise was made to him when he was forty years old but even at the age of eighty, he felt his strength had not abated. Joshua told him he had no choice but to honour Moses’ promise. When Joshua gave him the go-ahead to go and purchase the land, he announced that he will give his daughter to anyone who could help him take over the land.Othniel, a young man who needed a wife helped to get the land though the land belonged to Caleb. Some of us kill our dreams because of our greed. We want to pocket the whole profit but in an attempt to do this, we end up losing everything. Most times it’s better to settle for 50% instead of getting nothing. If you have an idea, you can call people who are younger to help you execute the project while you are backing them up with your experience. Some people have written themselves off due to their old age but the truth is, you can still achieve a lot even in your old age. You wouldn’t want to depend on your children for survival in your old age. You need to let God know that there is a reason for you being alive. Wealth makes people grow younger while poverty makes people grow older. Social responsibility is always a very lucrative business. The principle of social responsibility states that you should not just seek for profit in whatever business venture you find yourself but rather think of ways by which you can give back to your community. The government is always looking for people to help her out. In the land of Egypt famine was on its way and Pharaoh was looking for someone to help the country out. Joseph was available and that was how he became prominent. In our

society there is always something going wrong. Evil deeds are becoming more in the society. Why don’t you broker a solution to it and let the government begin to celebrate you. Don’t complain about the wrongs in the society. Look for a solution to it and bring your solution to the government. They will embrace it. The government does not care where the solution to societal problems comes from as long as the problems are resolved. The government is tired of the problem and they are looking for solutions to it. Look around you! I have a friend who organises football matches amongst teenagers on the streets in Africa. He is not even based in the continent but has hired people back in Africa who help him supervise the project while he is getting on with his pastoral work in the US. The government is paying him a lot of money for this project. Develop an idea and sell it to an organisation. All organisations are looking for ways through which they can support the community. If you can come up with a good idea, you will be celebrated. You must also realise that to be successful in life, you must make yourself likeable. Nobody wants to deal with someone who is always frowning or who is rude. The way you dress and your emotional comportment also matters. People must be able to approach you. Many of us are not making headway in our chosen field because we are not likeable. Joseph was a likeable character and that explains why his master’ wife was interested in sleeping with him. His likeability became a challenge for him. We need to polish our lives. Many of us have not integrated ourselves fully into the country we’ve found ourselves in. Even though we are living in Europe, we still have the mind-set of a foreigner. When you are in a foreign land; your diet, your look and everything about you just change. By restricting yourself to your native diet, you are limiting the kind of people you can go to lunch with. You need to repackage yourself. A product is not as bad as its packaging. If a product is bad that means its packaging is bad. Change your packaging. Also, you don’t have to make yourself visible when you are in business. Some of us are in business just

to show off. You need to be prudent in your spending. You are not in business to show off but rather to make money. If your business is not generating money for you, kill it off. You must go into a business with the sole purpose of making money; not to show off. Sometimes people have the tendency to lives under an illusion. Because of the big house and exquisite cars, people may believe you are rich while in actual fact, you are struggling financially. Business is like a fire. When it’s just starting out, don’t expose it to the wind or else the wind might quench the fire. Wait for the fire to grow then when it has grown wild, if you open it to the wind, the wind will only help to make it bigger. A successful business or career will give you influence or authority just as it did in the case of Joseph. Joseph had so much authority, such that he was almost on an equal level with the king. No matter how successful you are in business, if you are not influential, it would get to a stage where you would feel you haven’t achieved anything. This is why many business men end up going into politics. In business, you must be ready to fail and rise up again. Many tend to quit after failing but you must always be ready to rise up again. The things I’ve shared are practical experiences which have helped to shape me and make me the successful business man I am today.

THE INAUGURAL EUROPE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE WAS HOSTED BY RCCG EUROPE REGIONS 2 & 3 IN VALENCIA SPAIN. THIS INNOVATIVE VISION WAS BIRTHED BY THE REGIONAL COORDINATORS OF BOTH REGIONS (PASTOR LEKE SANUSI AND PASTOR SOLA OLUDOYI). BOTH REGIONAL COORDINATORS EMPHASISED THE CONFERENCE ETHOS AND PURPOSE OF LEADERSHIP IS NOT A ONE OFF EVENT BUT A CONTINUUM. HENCE THIS WILL BE AN ANNUAL EVENT ACROSS THE TWO EUROPEAN REGIONS. The conference was held over 3 days from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th Sept 2015 at Confotel Ilunion4 Hotel conference suite. The aim is to develop and enhance leadership skills and knowledge across all cadres of church structures. Whilst effective leadership is the bedrock of church growth, retention and effectiveness, the visioneers recognise the importance of creating a forum to develop a more robust understanding of what church leadership entails. The sharing, training and development of lead’ership skills will equip leaders in church to face the challenges of church growth. Emphasis was placed on embedding the servant leader spirit rather than top heavy or heavy handed leadership model. To achieve this, detailed, strategic planning were put in place to harness a pool of seasoned Christan guest speakers and leaders of repute to imbibe practical leadership skills training to delegates at the conference. The guest speakers were: • Pastor Tola Odutola (JESUS House Maryland) • Pastor Sola Adeaga (Jesus House London) • Rev. Yemi Adedeji • Pastor Agu Irukwu The program was well attended and to the glory of God the auditorium was filled with delegates from across Europe and some from other countries outside mainland Europe. The delegates were both within and outside of The RCCG. Some delegates were none English speaking but had a

bilingual interpreter to translate from English to Spanish. It was recognised that adequate planning for interpreters will be made for future programmes. The next Leadership conference will take place in Stockholm Sweden from 22nd -24th Sept 2016. Each guest speaker metaphorically brought different ingredients and flavours into the melting pot of effective church leadership. Each session was practical and tailored to the challenges and leadership issues of the delegates. There were Question and answer sessions whereby delegates were able to relay real life leadership experiences and seek guidance on how to manage such situations. The sessions were delivered in simplistic yet cogent language to effectively communicate with the audience. Hence intermittent applause from delegates throughout the session. New ideas and teachings in leadership methodology were expounded, and every delegate at varying cadres of church leadership hierarchy left with one or two leadership improvement lessons for implementation in respective parishes. Some of the topics covered were: • Heart of the Leader • Developing generational leaders of Churches • Leadership Team development • How to lead outside your Church(Leading in diaspora) • Relationship

Delegates were encouraged to embrace culture change. The immediate culture of local churches and community in Europe should be understood to enable the church influence her society. Pastor Olaitan is an ordained Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a Zonal Pastor, Provincial Evangelist and the set man for the largest weekly evangelical prayer meeting that holds every Thursday morning in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria. am very excited about what the Lord is set to do at this program. I feel confident that at this program there will be lots of notable miracles and self-announcing testimonies of Signs and wonders. I can only urge that you come with faith and expectation and see what the Lord is capable of doing. From the above key structure we see a lot of things that we can learn from, I believe that these are part of the things that the Lord will do at this program. I will mention only four things here: SATANIC RESISTANCE IS REAL BUT MUST NOT STOP US: The Bible says that “…greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). The one in the world is great – only that the one inside us is GREATER! Satan would want to resist us, to challenge our moving forward and limit our walk with the Lord. The Bible says that Satan stood at the right hand of Joshua to resist him. The right hand is the place of power and privilege. It is the place of preference and strength. For Satan to stand at the right hand of the High Priest is strategic, but this is not the end of the story. Are you going through issues that make you feel that the devil is resisting you and resisting your right hand? I have news for you – the Lord will rebuke the devil for your sake in Jesus Name. Are you failing where you ought to be succeeding? Are little issues you should master controlling you? Are you laboring much but have nothing to show for it? I decree over your life that the power fuelling satanic resistance in your matter is broken in the Name of Jesus. JOSHUA CANNOT TAKE THE GARMENT OFF BY HIMSELF: Filth represents sin. They limit our spiritual performance and access to our Master. The Bible says that, “If we are to regard iniquity in our heart, the Lord will not hear me”. (Psalms 66:18. I believe that the Lord wants to remove everything that limits our fellowship with Him at this program. Do you have unconfessed sins in your life? Confess and renounce them now. It is only the Lord that can forgive and remove sins and its effects. This is what the Lord is set to do if you let Him. The instruction and operations to remove sin and all that it represents can only be done by God. Our role is to confess and forsake them, His role is to remove the sins and give us access to His grace and mercy. WE CANNOT PERFORM WELL WITH FILTHY GARMENTS: Joshua was the High Priest and he could not be a proper High Priest if his garments were filthy. This age long strategy of the Devil is still in use today. Whatever power the Devil is using to limit our performance, limit out results, to limit us in our place of work, whatever limitation that is not allowing us to work freely and earn whatwe are worth will come under divine attention at this program in Jesus’ Name. The Lord will surprise you pleasantly. Every filthy garment that is not allowing you to walk, talk and be celebrated, I command to be removed and burnt with fire in the Name of Jesus. The garments we wear limits us or can give us access. When Bartimaeus was to be made whole, he left his garment behind. When Joseph was to be celebrated, he left the prison garments behind. I degree that every garment limiting you in the place where the Lord has placed you should be removed and destroyed in Jesus Name. GARMENTS OF HONOUR IS COMING: Joshua was the High Priest. This is a very honourable office, but his garment was filthy. In order for the Lord to do all that He wanted to do in Zion, He had to remove all the iniquity of the Land that was symbolized with the filth on the garment of the High Priest. Then the Lord made provision for honourable robe and mitre. Honour is coming your way. Isaiah 61:10 talks about the rejoicing and joy that should follow the new garment of salvation. I have come to announce to you that joy and celebration is coming your way in Jesus Name. If we remember the story of the Prodigal son, we will see that it is in the nature of God to bring out the best robe to honour you, (Luke15:22). This is why I am confident that the Lord is bringing unimaginable honour to you this season in the Name of Jesus. This is because according Isaiah 43:25 – the Lord Himself is the one who blots out our iniquities and refuses to remember our sins. I declare one more time according to the prophetic utterance of Isaiah the son of Amos, instead of shame, you shall have a double portion of honour and you shall have everlasting joy (Isaiah 61:7) in the Name of Jesus. There are several other things God will do – we cannot mention them all here. Come with faith and expectation. And your expectation will not be cut short. The Lord of Signs will be there – I promise. I therefore know that there will be lots of signs and wonders.

FERTILITY T

he subject of fertility is fascinating and has been selected for this edition of Prayer Works. As Christians we have a promise from God that we will be blessed with a long and full life and with our own children because according to the scripture stated above there will be no infertility in our land. Fertility is the ability to conceive and have children (bear fruits).This ability was conferred onto us at creation . Gen 1vs 28. Be fruitful and multiply.... There are medically three basic elements required for conception (pregnancy). The sperm, the egg and an enabling environment for the two to interact to produce a baby. The first one I will like to discuss is sperm -also know as the male factor or seed. The sperm must be healthy to be able to achieve the purpose of fertilising the egg. Several million sperms may be delivered per ejaculate and may survive for up to 72 hours in the female after release. A poor quantity or quality of sperm may delay spontaneous (natural) pregnancy. A healthy lifestyle for men will support a healthy reproductive career. A man's health must be taken seriously from birth to adulthood. Conditions that affect babies such as undescended testicles, hernia, infections such as mumps must be detected early and remedied to avoid damage to the reproductive organs that may cause problems in adulthood. Sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhoea and chlamydia and other infections may damage the male organ leading to poor sperm production. Alcohol, drug misuse, tight underpants, persistent heat to the crotch, diabetes and many more have been implicated as adverse conditions affecting male fertility. Impotence (inability to get or maintain erection) is complicated, not as common as above reasons and beyond the focus of this discussion. The egg is produced by the female in a process called ovulation. This event occurs monthly from puberty to menopause ( cessation of periods). Theoretically, ovulation should occur in the middle of the menstrual cycle( not middle of menstruation). Practically this event (ovulation) is difficult to map out with precision. Ovulation is mostly painless and undetected by the woman but some women experience mild to moderate mid cycle pain suggesting the egg has been released. The lifespan of the released egg is about 24 hours. Severe mid cycle pain must be reported to your doctor. Good health is required for regular menstruation.Some women

do not have regular menstruation and by implication will not ovulate regularly. There are many reasons for irregular menstruation such as being over weight, hormone treatment eg contraceptives, anxiety and stress and premature menopause- further discussion on this is outside the scope of this article. Ovulation can be induced by medication. Certain foods are rich in natural hormones that may promote ovulation eg yams, milk, lean meat, fatty fish etc. The third element required for fertility is far more complex. A prominent factor is transport of the egg to the sperm so they can meet. For successful transport, healthy Fallopian tubes are required in the female. Blocked Fallopian tubes will interfere with natural conception because the egg and sperm will be unable to meet to fulfil their destiny of making a baby. Infection is the commonest reason for blocked Fallopian tubes. The most commonly encountered reason for infection is sexually transmitted diseases from gonorrhoea, chlamydia etc. Tubal damage may also occur following surgery to other pelvic organs such as when treating fibroids or removing ovarian cysts. Once the tubes are damaged or blocked, they can not be unblocked by medication. Special surgical techniques will be required with no guarantee of successfully unblocking them. If the timing of ovulation can be predicted, this information may be used to determine when pregnancy is most likely to occur and intercourse can be timed accordingly- so called fertile period. There are commercially available tests kits that may assist in this regard. It is recommended that couples wishing to achieve natural conception best live together or at least be available to come together during the woman's fertile period to maximise the possibility of conception. With modern technology, the boundaries of what is feasible medically is constantly being pushed in favour of assisted conception. We should not be surprised about the fact that men with low sperm count, women with blocked Fallopian tubes and those not ovulating regularly can now be helped and testimonies abound. After all the bible says in Deu 7 vs 14 -none of your men or women will be childless.

HOW THE UK MONITORS THE CREDITABILITY OF ITS CITIZENS In the UK, a person’s credit score is monitored via the credit file system and the credit file system is managed by credit reference agencies. There are three main credit reference agencies in the UK namely; Equifax, Experian and Callcredit. These agencies collaborate with financial institutions – i.e. banks and building societies, utility providers like mobile phone companies and other major retailers to enable them make a judgement on a person’s repayment behaviour or creditworthiness. Credit reference agencies hold personal information and details about a person’s financial history which includes: Information about county court judgement (CCJ) Bankruptcy or insolvencies. Presence on electoral register. Past and current credit information/repayment history. For this reason, it is important to note that your repayment behaviour will generate your credit history and credit score. This in turn determines the likelihood of approval of future credits. HOW TO BOOST YOUR CREDIT SCORE • Make monthly repayment on any outstanding debt before the due date. • Get a credit card. • Use the credit card to generate credit history.

• Register to vote otherwise you are unlikely to get credit. • If you split from someone or a business partner with whom you have financial links ensure you financially delink (e.g. cancel joint bank account). • Minimise credit applications by using free eligibility calculator e.g. loan or mortgage calculator. • Don’t apply for credit too often. • Always check your credit file after any credit application rejection in other to check if incorrect information has been recorded against your file. • Avoid withdrawing cash using credit cards as this usually incurs higher interest rates. • Cancel unused credit and store cards as too many credit cards recorded against your credit file could adversely affect future credit applications.

Without a credit history, repayment behaviour cannot be determined for you and it is very likely institutions may not approve your personal loan or mortgage applications when needed. Having good credit rating generates many benefits for you such as helping you qualify for more attractive interest rates, therefore don’t avoid taking credit because of fear of debt however be responsible at managing the repayments in a timely manner. In conclusion, a good reputation and profile will enable you to take advantage of the opportunities available around you. It is therefore wise to create a strong and positive credit profile for yourself. THE FEMALE SHEPHERD W O M E N ’ S B R E A K FA S T M E E T I N G

here was only one place in London for a woman to be fed spirit, soul and body. That was at the women’s breakfast meeting which took place on Saturday 19th September, 2015 at the Bethel Auditorium of Victory House. Pastor Bola and her team took excellent care of us. It started with prayers and praise/worship led by women choir. Greetings and introductions were insufficient. There was the ice-breaking game of ‘What’s in your purse.’ The team who had the most items in their purse won. (Items ranging from lipsticks to a pregnancy test kit!) We love Pastor (Mrs) Dupe Afolabi, the guest minister who flew in from Nigeria that morning to minister the Word to us. She preached on ‘The Female Shepherd’ 6 Qualities a Female Shepherd Must Possess’ , Ruth 1:1-7. The female shepherd qualities: 1. Arise: She knows how to arise in any situation. She goes to the Chief Shepherd for strength and reconstruction. 2. She knows how to hear from God. Her heart is open enough to ask, “ What is the Lord saying about this issue?” 3. She walks in the Spirit and she walks in faith. 4. She is approachable. She will use what she has gone through to encourage others. 5. She has insight, foresight,hindsight and oversight. Hence, she is a guide. 6. She will be celebrated eventually. Nobody can stop God’s plan for your life – it can only be delayed. Throw away the yokes and burdens or else they will either hold you to one spot or drag you backwards. That done, it was breakfast time! Lots of ‘dieting plans’ were ruined that morning! There were two sections – African and Continental. Sausages, bacon, bread, potatoes, baked beans, fried yam, yam porridge, juices, lots of fruits, etc... While the feasting went on, there was an informative presentation by Dr.Duroshola on the prevention, screening and recognition of breast and cervical cancer. He also entertained questions asked anonymously about other medical problems that we were concerned about. Having said that, please discuss with your GP/nurse about the cancer screening tests available to you immediately you put down this magazine! The event ended at mid-day with prayers, fun and laughter as we all put away the tables and coverings in unity! hristmas is nearly here again and one of the things that usually comes to mind is the Christmas gifts that we share with one another, this could be Christmas cards or other gift items for Christmas.If you look at the shops on the high streets, you’ll find various colorful Christmas decorations and beautiful Christmas gift items for sale and you’ll find excited shoppers going round and round picking items to celebrate Christmas. The Christmas trees are already singing melodious songs in many homes that can’t wait till December before glowing inthe joy of Christmas. It’s a season of the expression of love through our giving. John 3:16 says “God so love the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have an everlasting life”. God expressed his love to us by giving His only begotten son, Jesus Christ to reconcile mankind to Himself. Christmas is a season where we celebrate this gift of God to the world, however, the business world has taken advantage of this special season. They keep bringing innovations of new products into the market, people are enticed to invest a lot to satisfy their selfish desires, huge profits are realized, thereby making the reason for the season more of a commercial adventure and profit maximization than the real meaning that the season itself convey to the world. For those of us in the body of Christ, we believe that the reason for the season is Jesus Himself who is the special gift to the world. It’s our mandate to share this good news to the world by reaching out to people and sharing the love of God through Jesus Christ. One of the ways we can do this is through giving, not only among brethren but also those who are not yet in the fold: our immediate neighbours and the larger community where we are as a church. Before reaching out to the utter most part of the earth according to the scripture in Act 1:8, we ought to reach out first to our immediate community which is our Jerusalem. One of the ways that RCCG, Victory House as a church

has adopted over the years is through the distribution of hampers to our neighbours. Christmas hamper or otherwise called gift basket is a traditional gift which is a collection of gifts items packed together in a nicely wrapped containers and presented to friends and other people around us. Victory House had given lots of Christmas hampers to people in the community over the past years and in this year by God’s grace, with your help and support, we want to be able to reach out to more people than we have done in the past years. You may be wondering “why Christmas hampers and not Christian tracts?” Meeting a hungry man on the street and telling him about the love of God through the tract you’re holdingwill not make much meaning to him but demonstrating that love by meeting his immediate physical need will at least give him the impetus to listen to what you have to tell him about love of God. I believe many of those that have received the hampers consistently over the years will now see it as a norm and many of them are already looking forward to receiving their hampers from the church this year, I believe they ‘ll not be disappointed in Jesus’ name! We should also remember that when we give, we‘re sowing seeds into the lives of people, these people could also receive other seeds from elsewhere and before we know it someday, some people will surrender to Jesus because of the accumulation of seeds which have been sown into their lives. When we sow, we are also investing into God’s kingdom which will ultimately yield dividend here on earth and eternity. We want to be able to distribute more hampers this year, we implore you to give towards this course generously and bountifully, if you have given before, please give more this year and the Rewarder Himself will reward you in due season with an unprecedented favour into greater height in Jesus mighty name! JUDICIAL REVIEW A REMEDY OF LAST RESORT WHAT IS JUDICIAL REVIEW?

udicial Review or (JR) as will be frequently referred to in this article is an administrative review of a decision, where the legality of that decision and the process that was used to make the decision are brought into question. The key word is the unreasonableness of a decision. JR allows people with a sufficient interest in a decision or action by a public body to ask a judge to review the lawfulness of an enactment; or a decision, action or failure to act in relation to the exercise of a public function. Whereas a JR is a very specific form of civil action, that is used in UK law in order to have a court oversee a specific decision made against an individual, by a public body. JR may be used in a variety of instances, including those where local authorities and other public bodies have refused, or turned down, an application for benefits or where a local housing authority fails to secure interim accommodation for a homeless claimant. This article would however concern itself with immigration JR as a last resort in the prosecution of immigration cases. This type of civil action is most commonly used, in immigration cases, where no right to appeal has been granted and as a last resort. The process can be complex, as well as time consuming, and although it does not strictly challenge the decision itself, it does challenge the process that led to the decision. It is not common practice to use a judicial review to question the final decision made in an immigration case. However, one may be used to question the fact that a right to appeal was not granted, or to question the legality of a removal to a safe third country. If the court determines that these decisions were made unlawfully, then it can enable you, and your legal team, to mount an additional legal challenge, which could, in turn, help ensure that you are not removed from the country. The immigration process can be stressful and difficult, especially if deportation or removal is imminent. However, even if a person is being detained, the Home Office has determined that they should be removed, and no right of appeal has been granted, it may not be too late to seek professional legal assistance to challenge some element of the decision. Much is at stake when it comes to immigration cases, and the system can work quickly once the wheels are in motion. Whether you are looking to challenge the decision of a court, want to appeal where the right to appeal has been granted, or believe that you should have been granted the right to appeal, you should enlist the help of a legal professional in this regard.

WHEN CAN YOU JUDICIAL REVIEW? The need for a Judicial Review usually arises when for example a claim for asylum, discretionary or indefinite leave to remain or a UK entry clearance application has been refused. In the majority of cases there is no right to appeal against the refusal decision and therefore the only option left available is to apply for a JR of that decision in the Upper Tribunal Immigration and Asylum Chamber (UTIAC) which has jurisdiction in respect of JR proceedings in most immigration decisions. JR is the means by which any individual can seek redress against any public body particularly the Home Office or a Tribunal where there

are no further appeal rights available. Typical scenarios might include an application for JR of the Home Office’s refusal to unreasonably grant a naturalisation application; or to request an order to compel the Home Office to make a decision on an application that has been outstanding for a number of years (6 months in an EEA application); or to require the Home Office to grant a right of appeal where they are refusing or have delayed in doing so; to seek a review of a public body decision on the grounds it is wrong in law or very unreasonable and unfair. 1. 2. 3.

In order to succeed with your claim for JR you will, amongst other things, have to show that: The authority in question is under a legal duty to act or make a decision in a certain way and is unlawfully refusing or failing to do so; or A decision or action that has been taken is ultra vires‘beyond the powers’ of the immigration authority.

If the immigration authority acted illegally (e.g. there was an unreasonable, excessive delay in reaching a decision on your case etc.) or irrationally or the decision was reached unfairly then you can apply to the UTIAC for permission to lodge your judicial review claim. All claims for JR must usually be filed promptly and in any event not later than 3 months after the grounds to make the claim first arose. JR is only concerned with the lawfulness of the decision making process. It cannot consider the merits of any decision. It will not interfere with the discretion of a public body unless the public body has acted unlawfully. Also, JR cases are dealt with under strict deadlines which can only be extended in certain exceptional circumstances.

PREPARING A CASE FOR JUDICIAL REVIEW Pre-Action Protocol for Judicial Review In the majority of JR cases, the parties must comply with the pre-action protocol for JR. Our court expects the parties to have engaged in correspondence in an attempt to avoid litigation. The protocol avail parties to ventilate their positions and prospective Defendant to reconsider its position when necessary.The protocol sometimes affords parties the opportunities to settle before a full blown litigation is set in motion. There are however times when strict adherence to the protocol will not be appropriate in very urgent cases. In this instance, a claim should be made immediately. For examples where removal directions have been set to remove the claimant's from the country. Even in the most extreme urgent cases, it is good practice to alert the defendant of an impending claim possibly by sending an advance Claim Form to the Defendant. Nevertheless, all claimants will need to satisfy themselves whether they should follow the protocol, depending upon the circumstances of the case. Where the use of the protocol is appropriate, the court will normally expect all parties to have complied with it in good time before proceedings are issued and will take into account compliance or non-compliance when giving directions regarding the proceedings or when making orders for costs. In conclusion, JR should only be used where no adequate alternative remedy, such as a right of appeal, is available. Even then, JR may not be appropriate in every instance.
