SALES LEADERSHIP

CENTER

ABOUT THE SALES LEADERSHIP CENTER The Sales Leadership Center (SLC) is dedicated to the education, training and development of sales leaders and the discovery and dissemination of sales knowledge. We accomplish this through curriculum, competitions and events for students and through faculty research and scholarship. We serve as a crucial conduit between the University of Denver and the private sector, creating partnerships that focus on solving problems related to three domains:

SALES EDUCATION

SALES RESEARCH

The Sales Leadership minor blends innovative sales education with practical sales experience—a combination that enables students to launch and succeed in a career in sales leadership or marketing. The minor is available to all DU undergraduate students, except those pursuing a major or minor in marketing.

The research mission of the SLC is to conduct cuttingedge scientific analysis of the sales profession and provide insights to managers on state-of-the-art methods to build and maintain a competitive edge within their sales organizations. We work closely with managers and executives on projects aimed at providing both practical implications for them regarding particular issues they face as well as scientific findings for academic audiences.

OUTREACH AND RECRUITING

As a partner with the SLC, your organization will enjoy unique and sustained access to students who matriculate through the center: students not only from the Daniels College of Business, but from across the University of Denver. You will be in a position of strength to evaluate, cultivate and finally recruit the best talent the University has to offer. The result for your organization will be an increase in the talent pipeline and a reduction in cost to find successful new hires.

SAMPLE OF BENEFITS Corporate partners who support the SLC not only help it achieve its mission of creative sales research and education, but also have unique and sustained access to top emerging talent in the field of sales. Benefits include: • Discount on custom research or consulting projects conducted by our expert faculty • SLC assistance with off-campus private recruiting events • Ability to guest lecture for sales classes • Opportunity to serve as a judge for the DU Sales Competition • Faculty assistance with identifying top sales talent • Priority consideration for student projects/case studies

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP Supporters of the SLC become members of the Daniels Corporate Partners Program. Partnership benefits include access to all recruiting events across the college at no additional cost, invitations to exclusive events, on-campus branding opportunities and additional engagement opportunities designed to help your organization connect with top recruits and build your brand on campus.

The students in the Sales Leadership Center at Daniels possess strong sales acumen and skills. They are well-prepared to enter a professional sales role following their education and we look forward to our continued partnership with them.
