Little Lizards Explore the fascinating world of science and nature in one of the most beautiful parks in all of New England. Children will explore science and nature through age-appropriate activities and groups at Endicott Park, known for its wildlife and natural beauty as well as for its farm life. Our veteran staff will provide the Little Lizards Program a variety of nature activities, such as learning about the different habitats of many animals, identifying plant and animal life, basics of hiking and general equipment knowledge. A fun week capped off with songs, games, crafts and many new friends. SNAKE Explore the fascinating world of science in one of the best nature parks in all of New England. Children will explore the world of science, nature, and recreation through activities and groups at Endicott Park, known for its wildlife and natural beauty. The S.N.A.K.E. Program will provide a variety of nature activities, such as learning how to track animals in the wild, identifying plant and animal life, how to fish (catch and release), and the basics of hiking, outdoor survival, and mountaineering. Children will learn how things in science work. Project Adventure games and team challenges are always at the forefront of our program. Let's Play Sports Join Danvers Recreation for Let’s Play Sports! This is a sports program for children that is run for six weeks at the Riverside Elementary School! Program is separated into three ages groups (MiniStars: 4-5, SuperStars: 6-7, MegaStars: 8-9) and run simultaneously. Professional staff members are ready to lead a program that aims to help children reach their full physical and social potential! Activities include: Golf, soccer, volleyball, flag football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, track & field, floor hockey, & more! Summer Youth Tennis Danvers Recreation Summer Tennis will be led by Former Danvers High School Boys Coach Ken Rawson. Coach Rawson is a certified PTR Pro and has been a teacher and tennis advocate for over 35 years. This year, Ken will be joined by a number of new, young, energetic instructors from the Danvers High School boys and girls tennis teams. Instructors are USTA trained. This summer’s goal will be to maximize your child’s tennis experience in a fun and safe environment and to develop tennis skills that will be useful for a lifetime.
