W here the Streets have no...litter!

Newly appointed Deputy Mayor, Cllr Neil McNeilis, has his hands full keeping the city streets clean and tidy. He is pictured with supporters of the Tidy Town’s initiative, who together hope to maintain the picturesque city in all its glory. If you ever wondered who

tidies up after all of those late nights out on the tiles, then check out the volunteers with Glan Suas Gaillimh a joint initiative between community groups in the city and Galway City Council. They organise regular clean-ups of public spaces in the city, including woodlands, parks, beaches

and of course, the cobblestones of the city. (AH) On the picture from left: Tim O’Toole, Fiona Coen, Malachi Duggan, John Deely, Cllr. Donal Lyons, Marlen Gaughan, Maeve Joyce, Cllr.
