Solid top end of the Form whose standard of work is reported to be very good. Worked well in the Half Yearly examinations. Generally a good start to Term 2 work.
How much work are they doing on the weekend? They want everything done for them! Tend to be complacent about their academic success.
Trial HSC exams are the main focus. Trials carry a heavy assessment weighting. Exam periods often carry increased stress for many students. Some assessment task will continue after the Trials in some subjects.
Holiday preparation is essential. Access to iLearn and BOS website http://ilearn/homepage Study is centred around completing past exam papers. Saturation study using past papers. Reduced computer time. More written work. Complete responses to a set time frame similar to exam conditions.
Illness and misadventure AT THE TIME OF THE EXAM. Students are encouraged to sit for the exam unless it is physically impossible for them to do so. Presiding Officer makes observations of the student during the exam and completes a report. A doctor’s certificate is essential. Illness and Misadventure forms are submitted not later than a week after the student’s last exam.
Australian Tertiary Admission Rank Separate to the HSC but reliant on the HSC Produced by UAC using students’ HSC results to order the selection of students into university courses. I am able to assist students with an ATAR estimation. I provide an ATAR range.
UAC – University & Colleges Admissions Centre. Students will receive a PIN in the mail at their home address during term 3. We will assist students in making their on-line registration and organising their preferences. Preferences can be changed.
