Floors - they are truly the foundation of the home (well, besides the actual foundation that is). Jay Clarke, store manager at Wacky’s Flooring at the Atrium, says there are flooring products to fit every lifestyle, whether that includes pets, kids, wheelchairs or high traffic, high wear needs.

“With the newest advances in technology, flooring that resists water stains and scratches can still be beautiful and stylish,” says Clarke. “Flooring professionals can tell you about a long-lasting product that will suit your lifestyle. This year, Wacky’s Flooring will be introducing their new Lighting Division and Mobile Home Flooring Division at The Real Home Show, as well as a featuring a display of the hottest trends in flooring, including laminate, luxury vinyl plank, carpet, tile and engineered wood flooring products. Specifically, they will be showcasing Shaw Castlewood Wide Plank Engineered Wood, Torlys Corkwood, and Shaw’s Distinction Designer Patterned Carpet.

“The Corkwood by Torlys is a pretty impressive collection that was just introduce on the market in the last couple months,” says Clarke. “Simply put, it gives you the warmth and comfort of a cork floor but also the wear and durability of a laminate floor with an AC4 rating.”

Wacky’s Flooring offers a wide variety of the latest flooring trends in laminate, vinyl plank/tile, carpet, hardwood and backsplash tile. “Our main store location at 60 Highfield Park Dr. in Dartmouth has over 11,000 square feet of the top flooring, lighting, window covering and areas rugs on display for any of your projects you are working on or planning to tackle in the future,” says Clarke. “It’s always hard to narrow down what to bring to the Show.”
