I Freaking Hate Burpees… But So Does Everyone

T

his week, in an attempt to jump-start my fitness and further assimilate into Midtown Atlanta gay life, I attended a free physical assessment at Iron Tribe Fitness located below the Ford Factory Lofts on Ponce.

Iron Tribe is a small but rapidly growing fitness center that combines their form of cross fit with an all over paleo-diet and clean lifestyle. But today, I just got a small taste of what this workout is like. Ben, my trainer for the “WOD” (Workout Of the Day), led me through a series of increasingly more difficult exercises. Most of the movements are relatively simple and straightforward in design and execution. Then came the final eight-minute workout using a kettle weight and then doing burpees. Burpees are, once again, simple in their design, but very stressful on your body and nervous system. Basically you lower your body flat to the floor, then push yourself back up to a standing position and then do a very lame clap above your head. Four minutes into the eight-minute workout I felt like my heart was going to bust out of my chest. Iron Tribe even keeps a handy open oil barrel just in case one needs to upchuck. Trainer Ben is being kind, supportive, and completely sadistic in his efforts to push me to just below puke level. Why would anyone want to push himself or herself that hard? Why would anyone give up carbs and drinking? Why would anyone want to embarrassingly run in full view of the public carrying a cumbersome medicine ball? On my assessment my answer is simple: “To look good naked” (courtesy American Beauty). It’s plain to see that Iron Tribe and cross fit in general can help a person achieve their fitness goals. Maybe I’ll get my act together and join their 101 classes. But for today, while I stew in my own sweat and lay on the floor to avoid barfing, I think it’ll be way easier to just photoshop abs in all my pictures.

alking into the bar area at G’s Midtown, it’s easy to see why Lamonte was suggested to me. His smile literally lights up the room before he even knows why I am there. G’s Midtown is the modern incarnation of Gilbert’s, a long time favorite for locals and visitors alike. The atmosphere is open and friendly with rustic features blending with much more modern elements. This speaks to their food and beverage menu as well. Lamonte is a trained dancer who finds working as a bartender allows him to not only go to school, but also pursue his passion for dance. What’s your favorite drink to make? A summer favorite, but a year-round favorite for me has to be the Blueberi-Basil Fizz. I muddle basil and lime and add Stoli Blueberi and a little soda water. It’s so refreshing and herbaceous that no one can have just one. Who are your favorite customers? The regulars who show their love have definitely made me feel like G’s is home and a family for me. I’m the type of bartender that, if I know your drink, I’ll have it ready before you even hit the bar. Connie is one of my customers that has been around since before I even started. She is awesome. She’ll go from Golden Girl to Saturday Night Live in the span of two glasses of wine. [She’s] Simply a joy to be around. What’s your worst customer? Definitely the one’s that make those around them uncomfortable. They get too loud and might say obnoxious things because they forget that people have a personal bubble.

Fall Movie Preview Looking for Big Budget Masterpieces

Y

By Jonathan Bugg

ou know it’s been too long of a summer when the most talked about movie contains a monosyllabic talking tree and a Bradley Cooper as a raccoon. We’re ready for what looks to be an awesome fall movie season bringing back giant epics like the conclusion of The Hobbit and the nearly there conclusion of Hunger Games filmed right here in Atlanta. So just to get your palette wet for these films we’ve created a little synopsis of some of the films that appealed to us. Fifty Shades of Grey What is there to say about this film? Firstly it’s beautifully hot even if it does center on a very sexual straight relationship, the eye candy alone of watching Christian Grey (Irish actor Jamie Dornan) shirtless is enough to win my hard earned money. Big Eyes The Theory of Everything Stephen Hawking has been one of the world’s brightest minds and it’s about time someone based a movie on him and his life. The Theory of Everything will do just that. The film is based on the 2007 memoir “Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen,” written by Hawking’s first wife, Jane (Felicity Jones). The great part is that it’s a love story chronicling the couple’s early courtship as peers at Oxford in the 1960s, just as Stephen begins to display the initial symptoms of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), which would leave him severely handicapped for the rest of his life.

Those wishing for another Tim Burton film are in luck this December. The highly anticipated period piece about artist Margaret Keane (Amy Adams), who specialized in paintings of cherubic children with overly large eyes. Without her knowing, her husband Walter (Christoph Waltz), took nearly all the credit for her work – and all the profits as well. This forced the very shy Margaret to go public. What’s the best news about Big Eyes? There’s not a single cameo from Johnny Depp or Helena Bonham Carter. The film hits theaters Christmas Day.

The Maze Runner

Exodus: Gods and Kings

Are you feeling like you could handle another dystopian young-adult-novel adaption like Hunger Games and Divergent ? Then The Maze Runner might be for you. There is one wonderfully huge difference though in this adaption. There are hardly any girls in sight. The male protagonist Thomas is thrown into an all-boys world governed by a dark and creepy maze and it’s machinelike inhabitants. Just as he’s getting settled, the movie’s first girl (pause so you can clutch your pearls) arrives. The Maze Runner stars Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, and Will Poulter and is scheduled to release September 19th.

I’m already a little offended and intrigued by this one. I’m offended because I doubt that director Ridley Scott can successfully retell the Old Testament story of adoptedbrother-turned-bitter enemies Moses and Rhamses. I’m intrigued however by the casting. Christian Bale as Moses? The Dark Knight actor is going to pull a heaven assisted Ten Plagues bitch-slap on Rhamses, played by Joel Edgerton. That’s something I have to see. Plus Ridley is bringing in Segourney Weaver, so you know this is going to resemble a high budget sci-fi blockbuster more than the traditional Bible movies we’re used to seeing. Check this movie out starting December 12.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Thank God that we’re finely near the end of The Hobbit! I mean the book wasn’t nearly as long as Lord of the Rings and somehow, Peter Jackson makes three films out of it. The filmmaker has already proclaimed Battle to be “the most emotional, the most tense … my favorite of the three.” The pieces are all there: ornery fire lizard, epic battle between good and evil, redemp- Dear White People tion, death, triumph, and funny beards. Upcoming Stage Production

Steel Magnolias at Alliance Theatre at the Woodruff October 22 to November 9 Interstellar Everyone seems to be talking about one of this fall’s most anticipated films, yet there is also a giant lack of plot information as Interstellar is shrouded in mystery. Basically it goes like this. Something happens to Earth that will either destroy it or make it uninhabitable. It’s up to Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway to get in a souped-up space ship and leave the galaxy (somehow) to find the cure or the answer to Earth’s delema. With themes like “Love is the one thing that transcends time and space,” this could be the rare action-blockbuster that will have you cheering and sobbing. Definitely check this film out when it opens November 7th before the office spoilers ruin the mystery surrounding the plot on Interstellar.

The quintessential story of family, friendship, and steely Southern sisterhood. The celebrated Southern classic of family and friendship, this is the story of a group of strong and beautiful women who cluster around Truvy’s Beauty Parlor in a small Louisiana parish. The story centers on Shelby, who moves from wedding to childbirth to medical complications with a love of life and a willingness to face its possibilities bravely. Popularly adapted for the screen, see the play that started it all. Steel Magnolias is directed by legendary two-time Tony Award winner Judith Ivey (Steaming, Hurlyburly, Designing Women). If you’re really feeling like making a night of it, take advantage of this package.

Savannah Pride A New Destination Pride Event

P

ride is a celebration of how far our community has come in the past 45 years. The very first pride took place June 28th 1970 as a direct result of the Stonewall riots a year prior. Starting in June celebrations of LGBT pride take place all over the country commemorating this event. Atlanta’s own Pride celebration takes place October 11th and 12th, but if you just can’t wait Savannah pride is just around the corner. Savannah is a city with an abundance of character. With a rich history dating back to 1733, Savannah is one of the oldest and most historical cities in the country. River street, once inhabited by pirates, is now home to quaint shops and authentic southern restaurants. Although the pirate ships are long gone, if you have brunch on one of the many patios along River street, ships are a common sight. Visit one of the many pubs and bars in Savannah historic district, just past Forsyth Park, and bring your drinks outside with you as you bar hop. One of Savannah’s most picturesque aspects is the beautiful canopy of trees that completely cover the streets as you head from the southside to downtown. Massive oaks line the roads, their long branches reaching out to one another and blocking out the sky and allowing only slivers of sunlight to slip through. If the rich history and natural beauty aren’t enough to captivate you, then visit Savannah for its more current charms, like art and music festivals, civil war reenactments, or cruises down the Savannah river. No matter what interests you, Savannah has something to offer everyone. Savannah Pride takes place on only on one day, but the celebration of Pride in Savannah is a two-week event that will snowball until it reaches its culmination on Saturday, September 13th. Among the events planned are a volunteer 22 // 09.03.2014

meeting, a LGBT local business conference, an Art Show featuring local talent, Bingo, Pride itself and not one but two after parties, just to name a few. The events range from organizational, business building, artistic, and just downright fun. The two-week event will begin on August 29th and end on the day of Pride. On Saturday September 13th, the 15th annual Savannah Pride festival will kick off. This family and pet friendly event will begin at noon and takes place in Savannah’s beautiful and historic Forsyth Park. In recent years participants in Savannah Pride have numbered over 4,000, and with every year the turn out improves. The executive-director states, “Pride was for many years a local event, but it is becoming a Pride destination. We have a very open Pride, like a family picnic,” a fact that many visitors find refreshing. The event starts out very light and relaxing beginning at noon. As the day goes on a younger crowd starts to emerge, “As the Pride progresses the party really turns up. The bands draw a crowd. It reminds me of a modern day Woodstock.,” an intriguing claim from Mark Hill. Headliner

Debby Holiday

Debby Holiday will bring the house down with her talent and celebrity, but the Pride board has also brought in local talent that includes The Christy Alan Band, The Nils Brothers, The Steppin Stones (the kind of genre bending music that defies interpretation) and Club One Cabaret. Over 60 vendors will be available to take care of your food, beverage, and souvenir needs, although everyone is invited to bring their own food and drinks. Coolers are ok, but alcohol and grills are prohibited. Only 5 bucks gains you entrance to Forsyth Park, but if you’re feeling exceptionally festive you can purchase a VIP pass which awards you with unlimited beer and wine, admittance into the White Party, an affair of “casual elegance,” according to executive-director Mark Hill. This will be the third year that Savannah Pride honors one of its leaders with the Spirit of Pride Award. Past recipients include Mayor Edna Jackson and local activist Pam Miller. This year’s honoree is Antonio Rodriguez and just like the past recipients he is a man who is at the vanguard of local LGBT issues. Past recipients have pushed the envelope in the fight for acceptance and equality for the LGBT community in Savannah. Edna Jackson is the first sitting mayor to not only speak at Savannah Pride, but also to host the opening ceremonies as well. Pam Miller is the President of the Kensington Park Community Association, former chairwoman of Chatham-Savannah Authority for the Homeless and the cofounder of Citizens for a Safe Secure Savannah. Pam Miller will deliver the prestigious award to Rodriguez. 24 // 09.03.2014

A common misconception among Pride goers is that funding isn’t an issue. With all of the corporate and local sponsors and private donations, events like Pride should be financially set, but they are not. While sponsorships are extremely helpful, they rarely cover 50% of the necessary funds for events such as Pride, even in Atlanta. All of the rest comes from private donations. While some donations are obviously larger than others, it’s not how much you donate, but the act of making a donation itself that matters. The GA Voice approximated that there are 294, 000 members of the LGBT community in the state of Georgia, and less than 1% of them make donations to LGBT causes. If we can’t help ourselves, how do we expect anything to change? Donations will be accepted at Forsyth Park during Savannah Pride. Mark Hill, the executive-director for Pride for the past two years says, “Our Pride Festival usually runs on 28,000 dollars.”. This is not as much as it sounds when you consider the thousands who will be in attendance, the sponsors that need to be booked and all of the wonderful events that have been planned for Savannah Pride. Of course the Pride board will use proceeds raised from the event to “pay the bills”, but everything left over is donated to local charities. Mark Hill says, “Proceeds go to local charities such as Toys for Tots, Stand Out Youth, PFLAGG, and the Rape Crisis Center. If we hear of a nonprofit that might be struggling, we bring them in and cover the cost.” While Pride is a celebration it is also an event that specializes in awareness of LGBT issues, and Mark Hill is certainly doing everything he can to make Savannah a gay friendly destination. Savannah Pride is fast approaching and it’s not all that far away. Set aside the weekend of September 14th and dive into the culture of Georgia’s oldest city. Bring your friends and make new ones as you celebrate Savannah’s 15th annual Pride festival. I’ll see you there. The Christy Alan Band

Country superstar on not giving a ‘f-ck,’ dancing with queer cowboys and how husband Eddie ‘works it’ at gay clubs

By Chris Azzopardi

DA: Are you at a point in your life where you just don’t give a fuck anymore?

LR: Yeah, I’m getting there, for sure. It’s funny, I grew up in the business, and so, from a very early age, I was taught to LeAnn Rimes can’t fight the moonlight, but she can fight the care. I had to care what people thought because it was my job to. It really took me so far in the direction of having to care that spotlight – or, at the very least, shift it. I’ve had to reel it back in. Ready to divert attention from tabloids back to music, the 31-year-old Grammy winner just released Dance Like You Everything I’ve gone through publicly in the last five years – if Don’t Give a …, a collection of remixes spanning her 20-year you really start to care what people think and let all of that career. penetrate, it can really mess you up. I think I’ve come to a really good balance. When it comes to my personal stuff and David Atlanta: LeAnn, the title of your new album, music, I’ll listen – and I’m really open to people’s opinion – but Dance Like You Don’t Give a …, leaves a lot to the there’s a time when I’m like, “OK, you have to go with your imagination. intuition and who you are.” The more I figure out what that is and who I am, the easier it is to say, “I don’t give a fuck.” LeAnn Rimes: (Laughs) I’m actually old enough that I can name a record that! Honestly, the reason this record is out is because of the fans asking. And it’s great. I’ve had a lot of success on the dance charts. I love that world, personally. I love to dance. Releasing a record like this has really set up an opportunity to actually make a full-on dance record after this.

LR: (Laughs) Yes. I’ve always said that Eddie and I are a gay man’s wet dream. I sing, you can look at him, and it’s perfect.

DA: Are you definitely considering that?

LR: He came to that show (Gay Days) and was like, “I am not walking out on stage.” Of course I got him out on stage and it was so funny.

LR: Oh yeah. It will happen for sure.

DA: Does he tag along with you when you’re doing your gay gigs?

DA: Looking back at your catalog, what songs of DA: He gets embarrassed? yours have resonated most with the gay community over the years? LR: He does! It’s funny. He’s very low key. I embarrass him often! LR: “How Do I Live,” definitely. “I Need You” did. DA: Watching your VH1 reality show, LeAnn & Eddie, I’ve noticed just how much you enjoy dancing. During one episode you went to a gay country linedancing bar…

LR: I don’t think that’s ever happened, but I’ve definitely watched him get looked up and down in every way, shape or form … so yeah, basically hit on. It’s hysterical seeing these guys freak out over him. For me, I laugh so hard, because Eddie is really pretty cool about it all, but sometimes he can LR: Oh my god, so fun. A bunch of gay cowboys – you can’t be shy and uncomfortable, and I love to see him in that elehave more fun. They’re hysterical. And there were some cute ment. What’s next? LR: Yeah, it’s so much more fun to me, and it’s also kind of selfish – you go there and have all these sweet men who are like, “We love you!” It’s fun to be around that energy! I went and performed during Gay Days in Orlando not long ago – it was the first time I actually performed my remixes live – and I had the best time. I’ve never experienced so much love in a room, and also so much excitement for music. Just really incredible people, and I got such a high off of doing that. I don’t really have many firsts in my career anymore, but that was a first for me. Now, I really wanna develop that, because it’s just a whole different crowd to perform in front of. It’s a whole different energy.

LR: I’m figuring that out. It’s been nice to not be attached to anything at the moment and to have the opportunity to do whatever I want musically. I think after taking some time and starting to create music again, and writing and figuring out what that next move is, I’m starting to grasp it a little bit more. But I needed to take some time. I’ve been at the same place since I was 11 (until recently, Rimes was signed to Curb Records). But I love all different types of music and, like I said, this is laying the groundwork for me to really do a dance record. And it’s sad actually: The album (Dance Like You Don’t Give a …) was in the top 10 the other day on iTunes, but I was the only singer with a full-on dance record.

DA: Not at all like performing at a casino, huh? DA: Considering your artistic evolution through the LR: No, no, no. It’s different when you go into a place with thou- years, would you still call country music your home? sands of gay men. The one thing I think we have in common davidatlanta.com // 27

The landscape for women – there’s not much available. It really has become very male dominated. In the ’90s there was a lot more room for women. Reba (McEntire) released “She Thinks His Name Was John,” which was about a woman who had AIDS and who was dying. It was a huge statement and a bold move. So I think people were doing it back then – it just wasn’t as loud as it is now. With different platforms able to bring music to people, it’s just a whole different world. But I think definitely the ’90s was geared more toward having women involved in the format than it is now. LR: Is my home country radio and that world right now? No. But the cool thing is, I’m not sure that I have a home just yet. Not at this stage in my career. But that’s where I started. I’ve had success across the board. I think even more so on the pop charts than on the country charts, but I think the basis for all of my music personally has always stemmed from what I learned listening to old-school country music. That was really influential in my life, and that’s the kind of country music that I love. Unfortunately, it’s really not around much these days, but just the organic nature of that I carry into everything that I do. So it’s an interesting thing to go, “Where do I want to find a home?” I guess that’s what I’m looking to do, and I have such great fans. People have followed me through so many different changes. I have fans who have pictures of me with them when we were 13, and now, all these years later, they’re still listening to my music.

DA: How do you think the way you’ve been portrayed in the media has affected your professional music career? LR: I think, unfortunately, the direction and the conversation have been turned off of music for a while now. With the new show on VH1, and these eight episodes that we filmed, you really do get to see the story that is us and not some soap opera that people have made up because it sells magazines. And it’s hard to sit back and not be combative about it, but there’s so much and only so many times you can say, “That’s a lie,” because it all is. To be able to take control of it in a way and laugh about it, which we do, has become very much a coping mechanism.

So, with the show, the tide is turning, thank goodness, DA: When you look back at yourself in those pic- and it makes it harder for people to go, “Oh my god, tures, what do you see? they’re horrible people,” but to maybe stop and think for a minute. DA: It’s interesting hearing what you used to sing about and what artists like Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert are singing about now. How is the country music landscape different for female artists now? Can women be bolder than you could be at the start of your career? LR: Kacey and Miranda are two of my favorites because there’s some grit there and some authenticity that I feel is missing in music in general, but especially in country music. Everything I grew up on, you lived, you wrote, you sang. You weren’t trying to mask anything or not tell the truth, and that’s what great country music to me is about. So, it’s nice to see a couple of artists sticking to that. 28 // 09.03.2014

LR: It’s time. And it’s time for me to get back to what I love doing and what I do best, and that is music. DA: What’s the most common misconception about you? LR: I think my whole life is really just a misconception. Like I said, we have been drug through so much and portrayed whatever way they (the press) feel works for them that week – and also, there has been a third party (Brandi Glanville, Cibrian’s ex-wife) – and so, the whole thing is a misconception. But the good thing about the show is all of these misconceptions kind of just crumble.

Bull Duram

Wednesday, September 3 – October 5 • 7:30 p.m. • Alliance Theatre (1280 Peachtree Street NE) • www.alliancetheatre.org Bull Durham, loosely based on Ron Shelton’s experiences on and off the field with a Minor League Baseball team, tells the story of three lives brought together by America’s two favorite pastimes—baseball and romance. Veteran catcher “Crash” Davis has been brought to the Durham Bulls to prepare rookie Ebby Calvin “Nuke” LaLoosh, a hot rod pitcher with a “million dollar arm and a five cent head,” for the majors. Annie Savoy, self-appointed high priestess and muse of the Bulls, has a hard decision to make: every season she transforms one lucky player from an also-ran to an all-star by sharing with them her wisdom, experience...and bed. The love triangle heats up quickly as each character struggles with their own desires and hopes for what the future holds.

Singles Mixer

Wednesday, September 3 • 7 – 10 p.m. • Enstein’s (1070 Juniper Street) • www.gaysinglesmixeratl.eventbrite.com For a simple $25 you can rub elbows with other gay singles in the Atlanta area. Interactive Promotions has created this event at Einstein’s as a way for guys to break the ice with other eligible bachelors. They’re promising free food, great cocktails and lots of eligible bachelors. Maybe it’s time to leave the Lonely Hearts club?

This Week in Theaters The Identical: Twin brothers are unknowingly separated at birth; one of them becomes an iconic rock ‘n’ roll star, while the other struggles to balance his love for music and pleasing his father. Basically it looks like a twisted story of Elvis if he had a identical twin brother making this yet another film along the same grain as Dream Girls. Though it does have a great cast with Ashley Judd, Ray Liotta, Amanda Crew, and Seth Green. Kelly & Cal: Kelly, a punk-rocker turned suburban mom, is nostalgic for a life she can no longer have and uncertain of a future she doesn’t yet fit in. Seventeen-year-old Cal is frustrated at his lack of control over the hand he’s been dealt. When the two strike up an unlikely friendship, it’s the perfect spark needed to thrust them both back to life. This movie is definitely worth watching simply because of Juliette Lewis.

fairyscopes ARIES (March 20 – April 19):

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22):

You’ll need to come up with unique ways to approach a hectic workday. Drinking plenty of coffee is one solution, as is exercising before heading to work. But your best tactic could be staying in bed, and leaving the mountain of headaches for your coworkers to deal with.

Repeatedly striking out with men recently may have you feeling depressed. Cheer up mate, because it’s the dawning of a whole new day. If you act like a desperate jerk, you’re only going to attract desperate jerks, so accentuate the positive and see what happens.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20):

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21):

You will be turtle-like today, slow moving and meticulous. Too bad the day will start in overdrive and only get faster from there. You’ll have to ramp up as quickly as possible. You know what happens when the turtle tries to move into the fast lane.

The boss will be in a good mood today, an opportune time to sell him some of your ideas. You’ll be amazed at how easy that will be, and he’ll give you the green light on all of them. But hopefully it wasn’t the Prozac speaking, and he remembers it tomorrow.

GEMINI (May 21- June 20):

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20):

Curb your enthusiasm if a friend approaches you with an interesting business proposition today. Look at his plans from all angles, but remember that business can be like dating. You may find someone who looks attractive, but you’ll only wind up getting screwed, and not in a way you’d like.

Recent overspending may have left your finances in a weakened and pitiful state. Tighten that belt strap today, and get frugal. You may have to return some favors if you want people to help you out, and hopefully some of them won’t involve taking off your pants.

CANCER (June 21- July 22):

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19):

Difficulties will arise at work today, but you’ll handle them with the poise of a miracle worker. It’ll be like you have a magic wand and those problems will instantly disappear. Now where was that wand when you needed it last week?

The high energy with which you’ll greet the day will be countered by slow moving coworkers. You won’t have the patience for their sluggishness, and you’ll tell them so. This won’t make them work any faster, and will cast you as the office pariah for the remainder of the day, if not the week.

LEO (July 23 – August 22):

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18):

You’ll try to make a good impression with a new acquaintance today. But your massive ego may have him running in the other direction. Toning it down a bit could have you figuring out how to lure him back, and why it is you have so few friends.

Despite your best laid plans, today will be one disaster after another. You won’t be able to figure out why that is, but don’t try to fight it. Go with the flow and you’ll get though this difficult day, but expect frustration and a headache that will feel like your brain is caught in a vice.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22):

PISCES (February 19 – March 19):

The dating game can be played anywhere, even at work. Fix your eyes on coworkers who may be looking at you. Hopefully those colleagues will be guys who play for the same team. Otherwise you may have some ‘splainin’ to do.

You may have to rely on favors from friends in high places today. Being beholden to others is not a comfortable place for you, because there’s no telling what they’ll expect in return. So keep your integrity intact, and don’t do anything that involves farm animals, a leather thong and a blender.

Whenever I see people lined up outside a club on Friday night, I just think “look at all these poor people who don’t know Netflix exists.”

So, all it takes to be a new drag performer is to repeatedly kick a leg in the air, wail your arms around, and lay on the floor? Yikes...

*This page reflects the bitchiness of the community not David Atlanta or its publisher (although we’re bitchy too!)

New Rule: If I hold the door open for you and you walk by without thanking me I am guaranteed at least one attempt at trying to trip you.

When I show up and you are 20 lbs. heavier I will say no. And you will be happy you got to see this angel.

How many servers does it take to get my order right? It can’t be this difficult.

I’ve been told a purse falls out when I open my mouth. Fabulous! Now I know where to put all my belongings.

There’s one energy source we’ll never run out of: the anger of men under 5’7”.

Remember when I asked for your opinion. Yeah, me neither. It would be rude if someone walked up to you and said, “You’re too fat, you should diet.” So why do you think it’s okay to tell me I’m too skinny and need to eat? 60 // 09.03.2014

Your mouth has gotten more penis than a urinal.

I really wish Wal-Mart had a 10 teeth or more line.

How is that people get away with bashing their customers on social media? That shit wouldn’t fly at my job!

All of you bitchy queens mocking sluts: I have just one keen observation. You’re insanely jealous because even the sluts turn you down. Shut up!

Pet Peeve: People who keep their phone on speaker in public and yell into it.
