David López Luna Composer | Sound designer | Voice performer | Improviser
Education Master of Music | Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Bachelor Degree | UMSNH. Recently graduated from a Master´s degree in composition from the Facultad de Música, UNAM. He had studied with some of the most experienced composers from his previous generation in México. His works have been performed by some of the finest soloist and ensembles of the country, as well as by young musicians. He is music director and singer of the Ensamble Extracontemporáneo, as well as collaborator of the Computer Ensemble Kurhanguni, first of his kind in Latin America. Fouder of Proyecto A la Mexicana, which is dedicated to the rescue and diffusion of mexican music from the XX and XXI centuries.
Currently interested in improvisation and collective creation.
