MEDICAL AREA PROTOCOL FOR CODE BLUE INJURIES In the event of a CODE BLUE injury (recurrent osteoarticular or muscular pain with no history of trauma; frequent respiratory difficulties; evident postural abnormalities; paramorphisms like flat feet or scoliosis)
1- Report the problem to the parents, inviting them to contact the Chief Medical Officer, Paediatrician, or another doctor of their choice to schedule a medical check-up. 2- Inform the Director of the Academy of the injury. 3- Inform the Chief Medical Officer of the injury (by telephone/SMS) 4- The initial injury form is compiled by the person designated to do so. 5- The medical documentation needed for compiling the final injury form is collected. 6- When the player resumes the soccer activity, the final injury form is compiled by the person designated to do so. 7- The designated person files away the injury report (initial and final injury forms) together with a copy of all the medical records related to the injury. 8- The coach observes the player carefully on the field to assess his degree of recovery.
