ll access and activities listed here are completely free of charge. Some venues are offering refreshments, for which there may be a charge. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Oxford’s Sporting Heritage

I am delighted that Oxford Open Doors are making sport and the build up to the 2012 London Olympics one of their key themes this year. This weekend will be the inaugural event for Oxfordshire’s programme to take advantage of 2012 and I recommend everyone to get involved.

Our special theme in 2011 is a celebration of Oxford’s Sporting History and Excellence as we look forward to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

A celebration of the art of punting at this authentic working Edwardian boat house and long-established fine dining restaurant on the River Cherwell.
