We are seeing that adventure is back on the menu as consumers explore and embrace international flavours and unexpected blends. Yuzu is a small citrus fruit with a uneven, slightly wrinkly yellow skin mostly grown in Japan.
It has a tart, sour flavour and a strong scent. The taste of Yuzu can be described as a blend of a lemon and a grapefruit but it is more complex with distinct herbal and floral notes along with its acidity.
