Our versatile cake bases are perfect for everything from loaf cakes and sheet cakes to cupcakes and muffins. They deliver consistent results every time, even for less experienced staff. Designed to hold inclusions and blend seamlessly with other Dawn ingredients, their possibilities are limitless. The alternative application recipe with less eggs will allow you to reduce your cost-in-use, without compromising on performance. Available in the most popular flavours: plain and chocolate.

300 g Oil
225 g Water
200 g Inclusions (if required)
Working method
• Mix all ingredients in a bowl for 1 min on slow speed. Scrape down, then mix 3 minutes on medium speed.
• Add inclusions if required and mix through until evenly distributed.
• Pour into the desired cake mould.
• For loaf and sheet cakes, bake at 180°C for 40-45 min in a deck oven (160°C fan oven).
• For muffins, bake at 190°C for 20-25 minutes in a deck oven (170°C fan oven).
