ROYAL STEENSMA SOUPLESSE

We are proud to extend our existing range of fat-based fillings with the fat-based coatings of Royal Steensma.

The range offers a selection of colours and flavours, allowing you to easily create new variations for your customers. What makes Souplesse special is that it works with both refrigeration and freezing processes. The special blend of fats used, creates a flexible product, that does not crack or break off your bakery product. After thawing, no condensation forms on the coating.

Souplesse is easy to work with—the bucket can be quickly heated in the microwave in just a few minutes. This process can be repeated without compromising quality, enabling you to use only the amount you need at any given time. We only use RSPO segregated certified palm oil and Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa.

Souplesse is one of our most popular products, a versatile coating that can be used in many ways:

Use Souplesse to dip or spray, to make a ganache or mirror or to add flavour to your crèmes.

Method of Preparation

Melt the Souplesse in a chocolate enrobing machine or in the microwave (max. 500 Watt) until a temperature of 45-50 °C is reached. Then, subject to the desired thickness of the layer, Souplesse can be applied at a temperature between 30 and 40 °C. Once the Souplesse is applied it is recommended to cool the product. Cooling will enhance the shininess!

Attention: avoid any contact with water.

Result

The Souplesse remains flexible after setting and does not break when cut. Thanks to the ideal fat combination Souplesse melts quickly in your mouth and gives a good mouth feel and a delicate taste.
