Dayelineth: My grannies made their own clothes, teens of my family didn’t have cellphones and used a public telephone to communicate with others, my grandparents worked in the fields since they were little and that kept them strong, they used to wash their clothes on a stone and tortillas were made handmade and cooked with firewood. Likewise, they had other stuff that were recently invented in those years and were popular and important for them. Ximena: I spoke with my parents about how their lifestyle was in the past, they agreed on the following points: ·Entertainment: Table games, cinema, theater ·Electronic devices: TV, turntable ·Sports: Basketball, football ·Junk food: Sabritas, popcorn ·Transport: Taxi, bus, bike ·Music: pop 90s, rock, rap, ranchera Guadalupe: My predecessors were from Hidalgo, on my dad’s side, and on my mom’s were from Acambay. My dad moved to Acambay and then he met my mom. They liked to spend the time together playing video games on a PlayStation that they had, listening to music on the radio, going to dances or watching movies at the cinema. When the first mobile consoles started to be sold, they bought a PSP to play when they were bored. My dad played soccer with his friends and my mom accompanied him to his matches. One of their most usual activities was going out to have dinner together, they loved to eat pizza and hamburgers. The music they listened to on the radio or stereos were duranguense, banda, and cumbia. Finally, they had to transport to their works by taxi, but when they started to live together in Acambay they got by foot to their works.

Entertainment: ·Television was the most popular mean to entertain people. There were many types of T.V programs, but most watched ones by people were the soup operas, football matches, spectacles programs and the news. ·The most important forms of entertainment for people in the 1950s revolved around music. They spent time listening to music and going to dances. They met in squares of their towns to hang out with other people. Electronic devices: Disc phones began to be sold in mass around the year 1954. The red Numbers did not only contain digits, and before dialing you had to include the letter corresponding to the telephone exchange. In the event of a long-distance call, the operator had to be dialed and the zero had to be used to contact the help desk.
