Judges
Host and Announcer Natasha Barrett contributes live reports to ABC7/WJLATV at 5 and 6 p.m. She also hosts the daily talk show, Let's Talk Live, on News Channel 8. Natasha is from Houston, Texas, and is a graduate of American University in Washington, where she doublemajored, earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Computer Information Systems. After working behind the scenes at CNBC Europe in London and CBS News in Washington, Natasha began reporting. At the start of her career, Natasha worked in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she covered several national stories and the Naval Air Station. A short time later, she moved to KCEN, the NBC affiliate in Waco, Texas. She covered numerous historical events while not far from one of the largest Army Posts in the world, Fort Hood, and world leaders meeting at President Bush’s Crawford Ranch. She also reported from devastated areas after tornadoes touched down, while focusing on historical post events surrounding the attacks of September 11th. For her hard work and diligence, Natasha was honored by the Texas Associated Press with a Breaking News award.
Natasha Barrett-Host
Her next assignment led her to the east coast at WVEC, the ABC affiliate in Norfolk, Virginia. Natasha joined ABC7/WJLA-TV in 2006.
Rick Bernstein-Announcer Rick Bernstein is a Washington, DCbased voice talent who has voiced an array of client projects within the industries of entertainment, education, and the federal government. Recent projects have included voicing a promotional spot for the American Military University, a safety training video for the Department of Homeland Security, and an orientation video for the iPhone application “Missile Wars.” Rick takes pride in giving back to the Washington, DC community by lending his time and vocal talents to help bring audio education and assistance to those with visual and learning impairments. He can be heard as a narrator for the world-renowned Smithsonian Institution Accessibility Program’s Air and Space, Zoogoer, and Smithsonian magazines. Rick also narrates adult novels and children’s books, as well as biographical and historical texts for the non-profit organization Learning Ally (formerly Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic). In addition, Rick is the Monday morning voice of the Metro section of the Washington Post for the Metropolitan Washington Ear program for the blind, visually impaired and physically disabled. Chandler Ramelli Chandler Ramelli is a professional writer in the DC Metropolitan area. Trained in the arts since she was a little girl, Chandler has dedicated herself to promoting the rich culture diversity of Washington, DC area. Chandler is as a writer for several publications to include: Galtime.com, Ladies of DC and her Internet radio show 'The Chandler and Raea Show.' Chandler also dedicates many hours to volunteering in the community for such philanthropic organizations as: Service for Sight, The Twig Thrift shop, Wounded Warriors, Luke's Wings and Kiwanis. She has also been a member of many host committees for multiple charity events and benefits such as: The Corcoran, Pediatric Aids, Pink Jams, and Polaris Project fighting human trafficking to name just a few. Chandler Ramelli currently resides in historic Old Town, Alexandria.
Claude Vann, III is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army. He graduated with a business degree from Hampton Institute in 1977 and was commissioned in the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant. He served in a variety of assignments: Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN; Fort Bliss, TX; Germany; Fort Bragg, NC; Pittsburgh, PA; Hampton University, and finally retiring at Fort McPherson, GA in 1998. In 2009, Claude was recalled to active duty and served with the U.S. Army Cadet Command until 2010. Upon his release, he joined the Fort Monroe Housing Office as the Chief, where he ultimately assisted in the closing of Historic Fort Monroe. Claude currently serves on the several boards: President Aberdeen Gardens Historic & Civic Association, President Hampton University Military Alumni Association, the American Red Cross and the Tidewater Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen. He has two children, Dr. Leah Vann Jones who is a pharmacist, Captain Claude Vann, IV who serves in the United States Army.

Stephen Glaude is currently Director of Community Affairs for District of Columbia Mayor Vincent C. Gray. In that capacity he manages 12 outreach and affinity offices for the Mayor which include the Offices of Latino Affairs, Asian Affairs, African Affairs, Religious Affairs, Veterans Affairs, Ex-Offender Affairs, Women’s Policy, Youth Advisory Council, Grants and Partnerships and others. In government Stephen served as Deputy Undersecretary for Intergovernmental Relations with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Special Assistant to the President in the Office of National Drug Control Policy at the White House. In the non-profit sector Stephen has served as President of the National Association of Neighborhoods and the President of the National Congress for Community Economic Development. Stephen is a native Washingtonian and a proud father of 3 children.
