Builder Blunder! My sister and I were in town, heading for the cinema. As we were walking and chatting, we accidently walked into a builder’s lot. As I turned to walk away, I tripped and landed in wet cement! Everyone saw and was laughing at me! I was redder than a strawberry – even though my face was covered in cement!

Footie Fail!
I was playing football with my friends in our team and there were loads of people watching us. I was getting really into it and shouting, “Pass to me, pass to me!”. Someone passed the ball to me, so I dribbled it up to the goal, then scored, so I went mad, cheering and celebrating. It was only then that I realised I’d scored into the wrong goal! Everyone was watching me, including the sports teacher, who kicked me off the team for a week – I was so embarrassed!

I think Clean Break is one of Jacky’s best books. It’s really sweet and about a girl whose dad breaks up with her mum. I understand Em’s issues about being big because I was big when I read the book and it helped me understand that it doesn't matter what size you are as long as you’re f it and healthy. authorgirl70
