I loved this book. My favourite character is probably Treasure’s nan. She is a fun-lovin, hip, young, pocket rocket in high-heeled cowgirl boots and spark ly line-dancing clothes. She practically spends the whole book campaigning for Treasure and her rights! Epic, I say.

Hi Seren, I know exactly how you feel! It’s hard when you feel you don’t f it in, and because you’re of ten not exactly sure what to do to make friends, it can be very diff icult! My advice is to try to get more involved with your classmates – ask them about homework, compliment them on something they’re good at, or join an af ter-school club. If you get involved in a hobby you like, you’re bound to meet people who have similar interests to you – perhaps you could start a lunchtime book club with the help of a friendly teacher? Hope this helps!

I love all of Jacky’s books, but my fave has got to be T he Bed and Breakfast Star! I love how Elsa is so cheery, even though at times her life can be very hard. T his fantastic book is a funny, page-turning story. Five stars!
My fave JW book has to be My Sister Jodie because it is so well written and it’s also a very moving story!
