DALLAS CHILDREN’S THEATER THANKS YOU!
Listed are gifts received between September 1, 2020 to November 1, 2021. On behalf of the 250,000+ children and families served annually, we gratefully acknowledge our donors who through their contributions made it possible for DCT to present over 500 performances of high quality, professional theater for youth and families. Although program space limits our ability to publicly recognize only donors of $500 and above, we deeply and sincerely appreciate every contribution. As ticket sales cover only half our costs, your annual financial support is critical to introducing North Texas children to the magic of live theater. Should you wish to be added to this extraordinary list of donors or suggest corrections to our list, please contact the DCT Donor & Corporate Relations Department at (214) 978-0110 and THANK YOU!

RIDDLE ME THIS?
Take a moment to talk these through with your young guest(s) and see if you can figure out the answers. Answers can be found at the bottom of the next page.
1 Get a pen and paper handy to find out Paddington’s favorite treat. Write down the first 3 letters of market, first 2 of magnify, first 3 of lady, and the first of elephant. Now sound it out. What did you get?
2
A thriving and grand city On an island in the sea. Paddington now calls it home; What could this city be? Hint: It has a bridge that was always falling down.
3 Okay, sing this and fill in the blank: ‘Tis the season to be _________ .
4 I find trouble most places I go, but I always try to fix the messes I make. I have a cranky neighbor named Mr. Curry and a love for jam. Who am I? 16

5 Let’s make a poem: This sweet and festive treat might be fun to bake, But don’t let Paddington touch the Christmas ___________ ?
6 Okay, sing this and fill in the blank: Dashing through the ________ .
7 I rarely smile, I’m a stickler for tidiness, and I’m visiting my nephew, Mr. Curry, for the holidays. Who am I?
8 Which is heavier: a pound of Christmas cake or a pound of marmalade?
Answer Key: 1: Marmalade 2: London, 3: Jolly (from the song Deck the Halls), 4: Paddington, 5: Cake, 6: Snow (from the song Jingle Bells) , 7: Great Aunt Matilda, 8: Neither; they both weigh a pound.
