When he was a child, one of Nick’s favorite things to do was to hide in the closet of a rarely used guest bedroom in his family’s house. Sometimes, if he stayed there long enough, he would hear one of his parents or his sister ask, “Where’s Nick?” through the wall, which made him feel warm all over, alive at the thrill of having a small secret. He’d made himself a nest out of old clothes and a ratty blanket and would bring in a pillow or two from his bed along with a good book to get lost in. One book that made its way into his lair many times over was The Magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis. Nick is delighted to be able to help bring this story and the land of Narnia to life for you today, and he hopes that you will find it just as wondrous and exciting as he did all those years ago, hiding away from the world in the guest room closet.

1. The Magician’s Nephew (published in 1955)
2. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (published in 1950)
3. The Horse and His Boy (published in 1954)

List reflects gifts received through April 23, 2024.
On behalf of the 250,000+ children and families served annually, we gratefully acknowledge our donors who through their contributions made it possible for DCT to present over 500 performances of high quality, professional theater for youth and families. Although program space limits our ability to publicly recognize only donors of $500 and above, we deeply and sincerely appreciate every contribution. As ticket sales cover only half our costs, your annual financial support is critical to introducing North Texas children to the magic of live theater. Should you wish to be added to this extraordinary list of donors or suggest corrections to our list, please contact the DCT Donor & Corporate Relations Department at (214) 978-0110 and THANK YOU!
