Welcome
Fellow Gelbvieh Breeders:
I would like to invite you to the 2012 NAILE Showcase Gelbvieh & Balancer Sale. This year marks the return of our breeds to the NAILE sale arena. The KY Gelbvieh Association has worked hard to find the best genetics to offer for this prestigious event. You will find that this is an elite offering that reflects the breeds’ strengths. We hope you will be pleased with the quality whether you are searching for a breed impact herd sire, competitive open heifer or bred heifer, rare flush opportunities or frozen embryos from some of the breed’s best donors. Every day seems to bring new changes and challenges to the beef industry. In uncertain times, we are fortunate to be a part of a cattle breed that is leading the path to profitability for the beef producer. As many producers are finding, the Gelbvieh and Balancer female is one of the most profitable in the beef industry. Their popularity continues to grow due to the breeds’ strengths: modest birth, excellent growth, feed efficiency, maternal strength, and quite disposition. I will be glad to provide you with any information that will help in your seedstock selection. Contact me prior to the sale if you are unable to attend the sale and are interested in bidding. I will work to provide the best means for your participation. Sincerely,
David Slaughter 270-556-4259
