Research by Design
Design-based research explores the future. Not by portraying what the future looks like but by exploring potential directions for the future. Design-based research is an important method for De Zwarte Hond. It enables designers and clients, together with other parties such as residents, experts and local administrators, to search for the future scenarios they would like to realise.
