OUR PLAYGROUND PRIVATE RAMP SESSION

FOR ARTISTS AND FRIENDS …

The adhocPAD is a creative hub by all means: next to exhibitions, networking events and workshops it’s a place to express yourself! Screenprinting facility, office space, bar/meeting room and a miniramp – accessible for friends and partners. It’s no surprise that world-renowned names will show up every now and then to make use of what we have!

OUR PLAYGROUND

SCREENPRINTING

AND OTHER THINGS IN OUR WORKSHOP

The creative output by each single adhocrate is one thing but we love collaboarting with others! Thanks to our own 1000ft2 workshop downstairs we can screenprint, create woodworks, sew fabrics and much more. A lot of possibilities to play with!

OUR PLAYGROUND

CHARACTER MOULD

LEMMING BOWL AND SCULPTURE

On of the playgrounds for skateboarders and mural artists is „character mould“ in Radstadt/ Salzburg. An art installation/sculpture in public space, basically a lemming-shaped concrete bowl and a sculpture casted out of this mould.

MORE THAN JUST A SPACE OPENED 2011

Co-working space, workshop, exhibition space, event location, think tank, artist in residency and apartments … there is a lot packed into our building in Vienna’s 14th district. You can only get a glimpse of what‘s happening at adhocPAD by experiencing it, but be sure it’s a unique creative spot in the city, always surprising in activities and permanently evolving. The off-location is perfectly situated just outside of the center, but easy to get into town, and with all necessary facilities situated in the neighbourhood.

A BIG FAMILY

Kathi Macheiner and Lilo Krebernik are the adhocrates. A creative duo with family, a passion for boardsports, illustration and characterdesign. We work at our co-working space/studio, the adhocPAD Vienna and collaborate as a collective with lots of artists and designers from all over the world. Next to our „day job“ we are curating art shows and a small, ambitious artist in residence program.

WINGED LEMMING MAMELODI 2017

The adhocrates collective as of today was founded in 2003 called d:vision, later rawdvsn, and most of the output happens in subcultures. Starting as a loose bunch of creatives, it evolved and exhibitions, collaborations and sustainable projects were realized. Next to the core group of creatives it’s important to collaborate with other people to make things happen, so other collectives, network partners and initiatives are important key elements.

WHATEVER … … WE DO, IT HOPEFULLY INSPIRES OTHERS TO DO MORE!

Many projects will show the skateboard background of the group, but it’s not limited to it. Skateable sculptures, installation trying to blend urban arts and skateboarding as well as happanings or events on Go Skateboarding Day are a good example for output.
