TRIM TOOL


You select trim tool by typing it. Then you select your area you want to stay and then space to say that’s okay. Then you select the lines that you want to erase.

Or for a faster way you just select the trim tool and then space an you select more an just deletes the objects that you chose Ortho on

If you use the trim tool you can erase the objects that u don’t want


Observe Command Bar if in a command cancel by pressing escape

If yes select the option / If no follow –follow directions

Enter a command (c) then space bar / enter

When selecting objectsSelect what you need then ok selection by pressing space bar / enter

This is where the majority of student problems happen

Take a look at the command bar..- is there any part of the sub command that is relevant?

Look to command bar for further sub commands /direction.. press space bar to finish the command.


(C) Tool if you make the first circle the next time you don’t need to specify the centre of the circle you just press space bar and the same circle appears
