Deborah Stamps EdD, MBA, MS, RN, GNP, NE-BC (She, Her, Hers)

Deborah Stamps is a New York-based, internationally known nurse executive whose focus is advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and justice (DEIJ) in nursing, health care, and vulnerable communities at the local, state, regional, national and international levels. Her advocacy for DEIJ in the practice environment has advanced the educational and economic mobility of underrepresented minorities and the educational/career advancement model that she developed has been replicated in other states. In her career, Deborah Stamps holds multiple professional affiliations with organizations that include the Rochester Academy of Medicine, the New York State Board for Nursing, the NorthStar Network Advisory Group Member, the American Nurses Association’s National Commission to address Racism in Nursing, the Diversity and Inclusion Committee’s American Association of Colleges of Nursing, and the Monroe Community College Foundation, co-lead of the New York Action Coalition on the Future of Nursing, among multiple others. She is a recipient of the 2022 Rochester Business Journal’s Circle of Excellence Award.
