firmware upgrade for the bodymind
third generation, second iteration, version 0.87 3
This manual is a documentation of the principles and ideas distilled through a collective practice of activation and experimentation by various agents from around the globe. Many of the notions and procedures presented in this manual were inspired from real experiences and from real conversations between special agents below. This publication is simply a snapshot documentation of our collective ongoing practice and we hope that you will join us to construct this new soma~cognitive infra~structructure! agent Koo Des, agent Molnar, agent Wakko, agent Mushtrieva, agent Gerstenberger, agent Jardim, agent Agullo, agent Solal Cardo, agent Assayag, agent Jo~Badji, agent Louise, agent Sheily, agent Falk, agent Ranford, agent Ott, agent Savelieva, agent Kosmas, agent Bayer, agent Perushev, agent Vorobyev. learn more: specialagency.co recruitment: specialagency.me 4
Disclaimer Think of this as a manual for a musical instrument. You open the manual, try some presets, explore various settings, something comes out. This something may be something you like or not. Then you try again. And again. Until you set everything up in a way that produces a good result And then you start playing with it. And then someone joins you. And again. This manual is just a collection of what is possible, and while it’s not the ultimate truth, it definitely proposes a way. This way is a way of unleashing the agency of yourself, from within and towards the outside. Accepting the inner animal and the feminine and the masculine sides. Fusing the intellect and intuition, learning to inscribe information into the body, to retrieve it, whenever a situation may arise, to adapt and to evolve, to try out what it’s like to live in a morphing framework, following formulas, breaking them, making up the new ones along the way. contact@specialagency.co

ATTENTION: HEAVY USE OF BODY/MATHS METAPHORS It is well~known that first we have a sensation within our body and only a few milliseconds after we make a thought out of it. Therefore if you find yourself thinking while you’re acting, it means you’re letting a slower medium reduce your immediate response and adaptation capacities. To think is to train, to feel is to act. That’s why the practical advice given in this manual is focusing primarily on the body and movement that happens within the body and when it interacts with other bodies and with the environment. The best language that exists out there for describing dynamic processes is mathematics, that’s why we use some of the concepts from network science, chaos theory and differential calculus to translate what happens into plain English, occasionally using images. We urge you to try out all ideas presented in this manual with your own body and in relation to other bodies multiple times, so they can be saved as the extra options in your unconscious. We also would like to re-iterate that the best way to learn is to just go ahead and do it. Survival instinct is helpful, but sometimes fear of social death prevents us from trying things that can make our life much more interesting and diverse.

Unlimited Warranty We have manuals for machines and devices, but there are none for the human beings. Several publications attempt to describe how to handle certain aspects of life and that is a good thing. This manual, however, attempts to do so in a way that is systematic, relatively simple, and true to the Special Agency within your individual self. This Special Agency, or the capacity to act in a way that is intrinsic to the Agent’s specific combination of code and environment, is a poweful skill that enables one to inscribe the imaginary into the real through continued circadian practice. The information inside this book is warranted to be useful for practical implementation in any context or situation that demands a different point of view. To ensure a high level of performance and reliability, we recommend to translate the words and images presented in this manual into concrete actions, following the guidelines but also deviating from them. This will not invalidate this warranty as the origin of this term itself comes from the Proto-Germanic *warjaną, from Proto-Indo-European *wer- (“to perceive, watch out for”) – and what can be a better way to watch out for something than to just let it watch out for itself.

Disclaimer Many people think that they are special, but often for a wrong reason. What is to be special? On the very basic level everybody is special just because they are unlike anyone else. That makes the concept of special obsolete. On a different level many people think that they are special because they possess some special skill, feature or talent that sets them apart from the others. However, if everyone is already special then it is just about the system of coordinates and measuring tools, which, again, makes the concept of special obsolete. It is in this state of obsoleteness that we want to retrieve the concept of special and to infuse it with the new meaning and pathos. Our DNA is 99% similar both to other human beings and to chimpanzees, but there is still that 1% that makes the whole difference, what sets you apart from the rest. This is a manual that can help find that 1%, and then to nurture it, to let it express itself, to encourage it to inter~act with this world and with the other worlds. To find that 1%, to understand it, to really experience it, to know it, to share it.

modifiable source code: https://github.com/noduslabs/specialagency This following set of instructions is an invitation. It is a re~programming code, which is recorded using a version tracking system that keeps track of the changes submitted during the collaborative process of writing this soft~ware /* courtesy of the agents */. One can “fork” (create a copy branch) of this text and make their own “special” version of it (this case). One can submit a “push” request, which means they’re proposing their changes to the first branch and it may or may not incorporate them. Whatever the outcome, those branches can develop in parallel, maintaining their specificity and yet able to interact and inspire each other.

1. Special Agents and Special Agency
Everybody is special and everyone is an agent. Every human being is special even if just because they are unlike anyone else – hence, the “special”. Every human being acts in the world – hence, the “agency”. So even if you don’t yet know it, you are a Special Agent and you have your own Special Agency. /* There are at least as many Special Agencies around the world as there are people, but there can be even more. */ Special Agency is an open source way of thinking, a certain methodology of proceeding 17
beyond the limits imposed by any external context, authority, market or institution. It is a way of finding oneself from within and allowing it to fully express itself towards the outside in order to live, transform, and evolve. Every Special Agent acts within the frame, which is constantly questioned, expanded, and morphed ~ into poly-orthogonal shapes, which gain their own frequency, rhythmicality, physicality, emotional hues, and variable dynamics. In that Special Agent channels the very unique thing that is only him/her/its and nobody else’s – 18
the natural lifeflow that was mysteriously obfuscated by one’s personality. It’s the remainings and artefacts of those obfuscations which are of interest to a Special Agent, as they are forming the building blocks and energy packets within the physical matter – such as these words, the retina of the one who’s reading, the neuronal signal of the one who’s writing, the tremble within the air produced by somebody who speaks, sensations of somebody who touches. This description in itself can be modified and transformed into something else by anybody. /* end of code */

A > R > D Principle Special Agent’s capacity to act is based on resilience and adaptability, both in the mental and physical realms. This is facilitated through the following operating procedure: Assimilation > Redirection > Dissipation Assimilation = accepting the incoming impulse into one’s own form or integrating into another form – based on relaxation and continuous polyrhythmical movement / breathing. Redirection = pacing and leading, never going against tensions, rather sliding across the surfaces of multiple tensions, guiding the adaptive movement towards a new evolutionary state. Dissipation = distribution of impulses across multiple fields and surfaces, dynamic polysingularity [8], multiple competing centers allow the system to evolve as a whole.
Learn how these principles can be applied in everyday life situations in Agent’s Formulas section (6).

3. The Initiatization Sequence The action of every agent into the world starts from their physical selves. We recommend that you read through the whole manual to get a clear idea about all the options that are available and not yet available. However, we provide these notes, so you can plug into your own Special Agency and experiment with the various behavioural strategies and frameworks presented here to their fullest extent. [1] Set Yourself to the Neutral Position and Relax • • • •
set all the faders and all the toggles to their center position any habitual tensions that exist within your body/mind should be set to minimum and even better to zero. there is only here, now and the force of gravity. everything else is non~existent. any habitual patterns, expressions and apprehensions
[2] Establish a Dynamic Nonequilibrium Stable State •
set the rhythm of your breathing to a stable constant rhythm, inhaling into the center 2 cm below the navel [Nutro] to activate the gut neurons. 23
• •
let every inhalation spread to the whole [Body Sphere] for full activation of all body parts and of the immediate surrounding
A repetitive ∞ like movement (internal or external) accompanies breathing to create polyrhythmical dynamic stability
The stages [1] and [2] complete preparation sequence. They help set up a stable and yet dynamic form, which is never rigid or stiff and therefore always ready to assimilate an external impulse or to become a part of another structure without disrupting it. This is the key to adaptation and resilience and your own Special Agency will operate in a way that is more efficient and resourceful if you initialize those two stages before.
fig 3.1: dynamic non-equilibrium stable states (patterns repeat over time)
[3] Assimilatation: Oscillatory System Coupling •
set up all the sensors across the full 360-degree sphere to about 80% of their receptive capacity 24
• • •
in case of an incoming impulse, allow it to be absorbed by your own dynamic form without disrupting its center (tuning its oscillation into one’s own) assimilate the incoming impulse into the form, proceeding to the next stage of initialization [4] the coupling with the external system happens via the following two-step verification process:
[3/1] Engagement – deliver a brief destabilizing impulse to reveal the points where the system has tensions (points of application) and thus can be affected and transformed (push/pull) [3/2] Activation – affect those points that were revealed during the engagement process in order to connect them into a stable formation, which can then be brought to the next level of initialization (hold/strike/lock)
fig 3.2: assimilation through integration into the dynamics of the flow
[4] Redirection: Phase Shift, principle of non-resistance
once the external system is activated the agent initiates a common dance to bring the common system to a new 25

Practical Exercises:
These exercises will provide introductory experience of the principles outlined above inside the bodymind. Continuous per~formance will ensure their permanent nature. [1] Neutralization Stand still and scan your body from the very feet, that are touching the ground, to the very top of the head. Align every part of the body scanned in line with the vertical gravity line of the earth that goes through the feet into the spine and upwards. Hanging upwards. Any extraterrestrial body tensions and expressions slowly erase themselves from the vertical vessel of the body. [2] ∞ Dynamic Stability Feel the center inside your [Nutro], spinning around its own axis, clockwise, like a warm ball of energy {∞}. Then start moving it towards the front of the right hip {II}, then shift it towards the back of the right hip, following 8-like trajectory {III}, then 30
to the front left hip {IIII} through the center again, and then back again like an arc to the back of the left hip {I}, and then again through the center {∞} towards the front right hip {II}. Gradually allow the movement to increase its amplitude and trajectory, so it renders itself more visible. The center should be maintained along the vertical axis. One can start moving, walking, turning, while maintaing this ∞ like dynamics and aligned center across the vertical axis of gravity. [3] ∞ Environmental Resonance Breathe in through your nose, into your stomach [Nutro] region, expanding your stomach with every inhale. Breathe out through your mouth, following the air stream from the [Nutro], deflating the stomach with every exhale. Repeat. Then start the ∞ movement from the previous exercise. Assign a breath cycle to the part of trajectory of the movement: {I > II > III > IIII > I...} For example: 1 inhale on one semi-circle of 31

Attention! It is important to know how to survive, but it is even more important to know how to live. Many fears stem from the survival instinct and they often define our behavior (e.g. social survival and fear of public speaking). To let go of these fears is to shift the importance from survival to living, which is almost a must especially for those agents who find themselves in a privileged position of living in a physically safe, protected environment. That’s primarily why we consider it to be necessary to redefine the existing systems of ethics and moral norms and to augment them with principles that are based less on cultural past and more on the here and now (the language of maths and movement). We see those principles, including the algorithms and the frameworks, forming a new operating system that we call the operating system for the body/mind. It is made to be open source, inter~operable, and compatible with all other existing systems even when it contra~dicts them.
36
4. Body/Mind Operating System [4.1] What Is an Operating System (OS)?
On the most basic level, an operating system is an interface between a machine and the functions that it has to perform. We already have operating systems for machines, but what we really need are the operating systems for humans. [4.2] Operating System for Human Beings
Any OS links the form (hardware) and the function (software). What links the human form to its function? Our habits, morals, education, ethics, disjointed bits and pieces of knowledge that we received from here and there.
Several practices, such as yoga, meditation, religions and various martial arts attempt to connect those disjointed bits and pieces together and sometimes they are quite successful in that. Most of them, however, have been developed in the past but the world is changing quickly and sometimes they are not really adapted for the new digital layer, which is permeating our lives today. Therefore we need an upgrade: a contemporary body/ mind open source operating system for the 21st century and beyond. Moreover, we need many different oper37

Important! Your agency ships with a set of beliefs, which is also a set of axioms – the simplest building blocks of truth, which can then be further expanded to create more complex patterns, to build narratives and strategies based on them. Erase all memories that are not needed, forgive each other’s sins

5. Private Ethics: Special Agent’s Presets
[1] Networked Relativity Preset
Using this preset, every situation can be considered as a dynamic and constantly morphing network of interconnected elements (nodes), which are activated in certain constellations (patterns). This network in itself comes into relation with other networks, forming complex constellations on meta-levels. Tip: recommended setting for this parameter is about 80% of the perceived maximum volume; lower values may lead to the loss of a general overview; higher value may lead to the level of abstraction that is too much detached.
[2] Inclusive Exclusivity Preset
Using this preset the agent seeks not as much to recruit new elements into the network, but rather to actively change its shape, shift power accross centers, adopt

45
The ethics of inclusive exclusivity allows the agent to have the right belief set to enable active build-up reconfiguration of connections within a network. In order to translate this ethics into concrete actions some formulas can be activated in order to make things work. In order to realize what those actions should be, we use ∞OS practice focused on concrete and simple formulas for adaptive dynamic relation to one’s environment. ∞OS is a suitable candidate to support network-based ethics outlined above, as it is based on a similar understanding of connectivity.
The basic premise of ∞OS is that any incoming impulse should not be allowed to create tension or to fully transform the medium that it’s going through. Tension leads to standstill, full transformation breaks up the existing structure. The goal is sustainability, which also implies maintenance of structural form. At the same time, this form should be able to move and reconfigure itself in order to be adaptable to external influences. The main idea of ∞OS is to deal with this situation through the A->R->D method: Assimilate -> Redirect -> Dissipate. Practical applications of this principle are exemplified in these concrete formulas, each indicating the stage (A, R, or D) that it is related to.
46
6. Agent’s Formulas
(1) [A] “no, but” -> “yes, and” (creating momentum) The first formula corresponds to ∞OS idea that we should never contradict tension or follow the direction that it proposes. Rather, an incoming impulse is assimilated into the existing structure and redirected through it for further trans~formation or dissipation. In practical terms this means that it should always be along the way, at first. Then the way can be changed after which those who are walking along can part from each other or stay together. “No, but I think that it’s not true, because…” becomes “Yes, you may be right, and I also think that…” (2) [A] 2 -> 8 ∞ (catching the wave) An agent never deals with a situation of 2. Binary codes, yes/no, male/female, myself/another, black/ white are all left on the backup drive. A situation is always an 8 ∞. It’s a reciprocal exchange of energy, data, and whatever else forms the flowstream of encounter. In an 8 ∞ it’s always together and not apart. 8 ∞ is also 2 multiplied by itself 3 times (2^3), so it’s the beginning of a fractal. An agent does not really activate another agent. The activation happens between them, together with them. The judgement never falls on one agent, but on the dynamics itself.

8. Special Agent’s Vocabulary
Special Agent’s vocabulary is the re~programming language to be used for day-to-day agency operations. It is a powerful tool that has been shown to be very effective for reshaping inter~subjective relations, neuronal pathways, and privately shared ethics. The vocabulary is collectively developed and used by the agents from all over the world: agent Koo Des, agent Paranyushkin, agent Solal Cardo, agent Jo~Badji, agent Louise, agent Sheily, agent Falk, agent Ranford, agent Ott, agent Molnar, agent Wakko, agent Mushtrieva, agent Savelieva, agent Gerstenberger, agent Assayag, agent Kosmas, agent Bayer, agent Jardim and many other contributors. 55
∞OS - an operating system for the bodymind. Based on continuous wave-like oscillatory movement that follows the patterns of strange attractor (8), establishing zones of temporary non-equilibrium stability across its environmental field of action/response. Activation – fusion of energies – considering human beings are nuclear reactors, activation is a way to bring out the immense reserves of energy into the outside world and beyond through interaction and exchange. Every good activation is preceded by engagement. Uses: “this activation was beyond expectations”, “activation enabled”
Activator – somebody who has a sustained capacity to bring energies into fusion, to activate new connections, to bridge the gaps, and to multiply unities. Agency – an agency is the capacity to act, potentiality, which belongs to every individual, a network of environmental affordances and inclinations. From medieval Latin agentia, from agent- ‘doing’. An agency is not a club, it’s a constellation of selves (within one individual or among many individuals), interconnected, just like servers. Uses: “you are really taking your agency to
the next level”
56
Agent – from Latin ‘doing’ – the one who has a capacity to act. An agent is not a sergeant. Agents co~create their own worlds, while sergeants serve to the worlds of others. An agent is somebody who is in~between, transforming in~formation into action. Uses: “this is a good agent”, “check out this agent over there”
Agent Activated – an agent who has been engaged into action. Uses: “is this agent activated?”,
“sorry babes, i’m gonna be activating agents tonight”
Agent Activator – an agent who is very good in activating other agents, often even without explicit intent. Agitation – engaging an agent or a potential agent on one level or another. Asketes – the one who exercises / practices, making it the main priority in life. Assimilation - accepting the incoming flow without any tension in order to integrate it into further actions or to dissipate its energy into small particles that are exploding and imploding at every moment of time, sending ripple~waves across spacetime fields of action.

59
Body Database – a living archive of various interactive patterns that helps agents understand and access each other for an exchange of in~formation. Circuit – a pattern of action that can be activated in order to inscribe imaginary into the real. Uses: “Activate the new circuit”
Clearance – the authorization for an agent to access a certain knowledge or information provided by the agency. The clearance has to be ambiguous by essence because the nature of the agency itself is ambiguous: it might be the agent themselves, it might be an agency, it might be the agency of the agent. If clearance has to be granted, like on a server, an update on one machine updates all the machines, which means that a person would not be notified about getting clearance: he or she would just know. Uses: a secret
project in development between two agents. a third agent gets clearance to access that information.
Cognitive Stimulant – non~organic compounds that alter perception and stimulate imagination and sensitivity: frameworks of thinking, software tools, art, poetry, music, interesting conversations, words of advice, physical practices, psychoanalysis, philosophy, social networks, scientific 60
research, films, events… anything that expands one’s range of choices and possibilities, alters perception, and enhances cognition and environmental affordances available to the human beings. Confusion – the time outside of training when agent activation is allowed, thus occasionally causing confusion among agents and other individuals (from “con” and “fusion” – many streams coming together causing chaotic movement Constructed Identity – a combination of practices, behaviours and aesthetic choices, which produce temporarily stable formation that can be used for self-expression, stealth mode, and adaptation. Copy~Paste – getting inspiration and giving it a new form; receiving and transferring; can be used in radio transmission to confirm that communication was received and recorded. Data – a stream or disjointed elements of input that can be metabolized into in~formation Deactivation – an agent who is activated may be (and sometimes should be) deactivated. This may be done temporarily or permanently and this action is better performed when mutual consent is granted. Uses: “It’s time to deactivate this agent” 61
Disengagement – after an initial contact has been established, a break may be needed in order to prevent escalation from engagement towards activation. Dissipation – an act of spreading oneself or any other unity into different parts, which can travel independently and exist on their own, related to one another. Can be used as a tactics to dissipate many agents across a domain (digital or actual) as well as to relieve tension. Divinatorium - divinatory content delivery system. Double Agent – an agent who is fulfilling at least two agendas that might or might not contradict each other, e.g. somebody involved both with an organisation and into its competitor. Uses: “Did you ever think that she might be a double agent?”
Downtown – a place or situation that has lost its originality and turned into a hectic simulacrum of itself; synonims: SodaSopa (from Southpark). Uses: “Oh man this place is too downtown for me, let’s get out of here”
Engagement – initiating the first contact, fusing the first threads. Engagement is a prerequisite 62
step to activation. Every good activation is preced by engagement. Engagement may or may not be followed by activation, depending on the data exchanged between the parties. Ex~change – an inter~action that leads to a meaningful trans~formation of all the parties involved Flexion – a special push/pull sensation that can be experienced both in the body and within the environment; repercussion of wave-like motion in matter and medium. Frequency – as the wave is in the origin of everything, frequency is one of the original properties. To be on the same frequency is to be perfectly synchronized. To travel across the frequency spectrum is to connect to others. Uses: instead of “to be on the same level” one can be on the “same frequency” in order to avoid mis~understanding. Fusion – mixing two or more energies into one Ghost Agent – an agent who is present but in a way that has to do with invocation or with an idea of this agent in other people bodyminds, rather than “real” physical presence. Good – something that is “good” for any given 63

65
system in a way that is sustainable is something that allows it both to maintain its operational non-equilibrium stability and to evolve. Good Agent – an agent who does good. In~filtration – joining something on its own terms, passing through filters In~formation – an input or impulse that comes into the system and causes structural changes, affecting it from the outside. Input – incoming flow of in~formation. Uses: “Try to be open to different inputs that you receive” In~structor – ideally, an agent who is in~structing: creating a structure from within itself, inscribing imaginary into the real. Inter~action – collective activation Invitroz – internal activation work that relates to any enclosed entity: from a specific body/mind to a social constellation or space. Uses: “this is total invitroz” Komarade – fam, bro, sis – somebody who is close and shares the same ideas, weaving their threads 66
towards the outside; the main difference of “Komarade” from an “Agent” is that when agents interact they might need something from each other, while Komarades don’t really need anything by way of having a spiritual channel activated between them already; every Komarade can also be an Agent and every Agent can become a Komarade. A Komarade can also be a Muse. Uses: “how
are you, komarade?”, “greetings komarade!”
Location – an area, place, house. Uses: “On location” Love – while Zizek says “love is when you give something that you don’t have to somebody who does not need it”, the notion of love for an agent is a very different one. Love belongs to the realm of irrational; it may be momentous, temporary or permanent; it cuts through the impossible and creates links and relations that are unexpected. In that sense love may be violent and powerful, it may cause a lot of pleasure and a lot of suffering. It is a true “event” in Badiou’s sense of the word (an occurrence that leads to a contextual shift); Uses: “I am in love”
Mandat – the time of the training when no agent activation is allowed Meaningful – something is meaningful when it 67
consists of elements that connect into a certain coherent whole Mission – a temporary assignment that special agent has to fulfil Muse – an agent or a komarade that channels inspiration and good synchronicity flow. Uses:
“Komarade, I think I found a Muse!”
Not being a very clear agent – when an agent is giving confusing signs regarding their intentions to other agents. Obstacle – somebody who is creating an barrier on the way of the flow towards fusion and activation Patch – a temporary solution or connectivity that makes things work in a certain way; a patch may become a circuit. Uses: “I just finished re-patching all my stuff” or “She just doesn’t have this patch activated yet”
Operation – a sequence of events, a narrative that needs to be inscribed into reality, virtual or actual. Uses: “We have to make sure this operation goes well”
68

Notiz
Cognitive stimulants are different from cognitive enhancer drugs that are sold legally and illegally to improve memory, alter perception, and augment learning capacities: adderall, amphetamines, LSD, nicotine etc. The main feature of those substances is that they function like advertisement: you can see what’s possible, but seeing is not yet being – often one can get there only by way of continuous circadian practice. Also the enhancements they bring are only temporarily and usually more of the substance is needed to make it work in continuous fashion.

9. Cognitive Stimulants
Cognitive stimulants are important elements in agents’ metabolism. These are the entities agents create and produce. These are the entities agents consume and process. The ongoing exchange of cognitive stimulants between the agents forms the special “glue” that holds the agency formations together. [1] Cognitive Stimulants: Extended Definition At their very core cognitive stimulants are the things that alter perception and stimulate imagination and sensitivity: frameworks of thinking, software tools, art, poetry, music, interesting conversations, words of advice, physical practices, psychoanalysis, philosophy, social networks, scientific research, events – anything that expands one’s range of choices and possibilities, alters perception, and enhances cognition and environmental affordances available to the human beings.
Important:
Cognitive stimulants often imply a certain practice, so they can be internalized and produced on-demand by the soma~cognitive system of the specie who has the capacity to act. 73

11. Venture Fiction
Venture fiction is a practice of creating enterprises in order to communicate ideas and not the other way round. Each enterprise proposes its own system of perception with multiple solutions. It is not there to make a statement or to generate profits. It is there to propose its own world, behavior, and episteme. It forms a network with the rest of what’s considered to be real in order to inscribe itself into the everyday life. The resulting structure can solidify in the shape of social practices, media resources, software, performance, products, services, sound and visual materials. Why is it called venture fiction and what does it have to do with enterprise? It is a venture because it accepts the high risk of failure but hopes for the high gain. It is a fiction because parts of it are never real: imagination and the impossible is what motivates it to evolve. It is an enterprise because it wants to become real and tangible through translating itself into the business practices and embracing the interface of 85

This object was produced by the Special Agency. The role of the Special Agency is to act as an interface that offers additional choices not usually visible under the normal circumstances. Special Agency attempts to affect both normality and the very notion of it, as well as employing various practices of mind expansion, such as polysingularity, network analysis, Systema, Noguchi taiso, and the intuitive approach. Every Special Agent acts within the frame of normality, which is constantly questioned, expanded, and morphed into poly-orthogonal shapes, which gain their own frequency, rhythmicality, physicality, emotional hues, and variable dynamics. In that Special Agent channels the very unique thing that is only him/her/its and nobody else’s – the natural lifeflow that was mysteriously obfuscated by one’s personality. It’s the remainings and artefacts of those obfuscations which are of interest to a Special Agent, as they are forming the building blocks and energy packets within physical matter – such as this book, the retina of the one who’s reading, the neuronal signal of the one who’s writing, the tremble within the air produced by somebody who speaks. www.specialagency.co 93

CIRCADIAN is a nonprofit publishing house. Our mission is to inscribe imaginary into the real: we only publish books that call the reader to action, this is why we also produce events that provide a context for the books to be practiced and to come to life. Every publication we do must be concerned with proposing ways of stimulating embodiment and bridging the content of the book into the reader’s experience. A book then becomes the source code for an operating system that can be tried on by anybody who’s interested to expand their capacity to act. Every author collaborating with us will decide their own particular way of bringing ideas into action. For example, daily rituals, set of exercises, practices, trainings, methodologies, scores, instructions, manuals, games, experiments, and performances, which will also be realized in the frame of events with the audience.

Every release of CIRCADIAN ignites circulation between theory and practice in both directions, developing private ethics, embodying value systems, and exercising mindsets. The books that we publish support each other: our system of distribution of income gives priority to release a new book. When you buy one of our books you are directly financing one of the books from our waiting list. You can follow this process at any time and check the status of our crowdfunding campaigns online. catalogue: www.circadian.co

We have multiple manuals for devices and systems, but almost none for our body/mind. This manual is especially designed to resolve this issue. It offers a set of concrete methodologies, exercises and practices that can help activate the special agency from within, functioning as a cognitive stimulant. Based on ∞OS open source operating system for the body/mind, the techniques presented in this manual are especially designed to unlock wavelike oscillatory dynamics both on the cognitive and physical levels. We then demonstrate some concrete applications for everyday situations. The special agent’s vocabulary supplied with the book will help resolve limitations of language. We also ask you to pay particular attention to disclaimers and warnings supplied with the exercises in order to ensure safe and efficient functioning of all the systems involved.
