The Deerfield Park District partners with LifeSport Management to provide year-round indoor and outdoor tennis and pickleball instruction. LifeSport Management and their team of professionals have been creating quality programming for adult and juniors of all levels since 1986. The goal is to nurture a love of the game and provide a foundation of sound mechanics for every student. Make up classes must be pre-approved by the instructor PRIOR to missing a class. Junior Tennis Program Red
For players that are just starting to play tennis. Students will focus on learning the ABCs of tennis - agility, balance, and coordination. Students are exposed to tennis games that allow them to have fun, while developing basic skills, like proper stroke technique required to send and receive shots. Green 1 is for junior players with limited tennis experience. Class is taught using a green dot ball and focuses on developing sending and receiving skills, sound footwork, and racket mechanics, while incorporating comparable athletic skills developed in other sports.
