Tricia Conroy

Throughout her 26 years with the park district Tricia has enjoyed meeting so many supportive families and creating and fostering long term relationships. She started her career here as the Preschool Administrative Assistant and the director of the Sun and Fun camp. Three years ago, she moved to a position in the front office and has recently been promoted to Head Registrar. She attributes her longevity to enjoying working with such a supportive team.

Outside of the office, Tricia loves visiting her home state of California where many of her family members still live. The more beaches and sunshine in Tricia’s life, the bigger the smile is on her face. Tricia has been married to Dale for 39 years and loves spending time with their daughter Vanessa and son-in-law Andy. Her favorite outdoor activities include biking and hiking, and her favorite indoor activities include all kinds of dancing and cooking. Her signature dishes are manicotti and biscotti made with recipes that were handed down to her by her grandmother. Living by the mantra that when she provides a customer with a positive experience, that constitutes a good day’s work, it should be no surprise that her favorite saying is “Laughter is the best medicine.”
