DCDL REMEMBERS World War One - 100-year Anniversary Join all of us at DCDL to commemorate the end of The Great War. We will be contributing paper poppies to a statewide display, creating a pinwheel memorial at our locations, and hosting programs commemorating the end of WWI.

Cemetery Walk Learn some local history on this guided walk through Bokes Creek Cemetery. Veterans of World War 1 will be featured in honor of the upcoming Armistice Day. Saturday, October 27 - 1 PM


Pinwheel Display Each DCDL branch will have an outdoor display of red pinwheels to symbolize the local men enlisted during WWI. The pinwheels will be on display from October 27- November 12. (Thank you to Connections Volunteer Center for their help in creating the pinwheel display at our locations.)
