With over 30 rides and attractions this theme park offers up a full day of family fun. Getting to Centreville is almost as exciting as the park itself. Everyone will enjoy the scenic ride across Toronto Harbour on the Centre Island ferry!
This 20-acre theme park is designed as a turn-of-the-century Ontario village. You'll love the Antique Carousel with its fanciful animals. Kids can get plenty of driving experience zooming around in the Antique Cars, Touring Cars or Fire Engines. Spin yourself silly in the self-propelled Beasley Bear Ride and Twirling Tea Cups; or enjoy picturesque views from atop our windmill-style Ferris Wheel.
Scra Those who can handle a few more mble r thrills may want to tackle the rough seas aboard the Rockin' Ferry Ride, spin around in the Scrambler, ride on the Mine Coaster, take a plunge in the Log Flume Ride or bounce around in Bumper Boats and Bumper Cars.
Gotten your fill of thrills? Enjoy a sit down meal at the Carousel CafĂŠ or a snack in our many foodservice outlets. Next, head on over to Far Enough Farm where you can interact with mini-potbelly pigs, horses, mini ponies, sheep and much more! This family friendly petting farm, located right on the edge of Centreville, is open 365 days a year, weather permitting. FABULOUS
THINGS TO DO at Centreville Theme Park 1. Ferry over to the Island: Every trip to
Centreville starts with the same ritual – a short ferry ride from the city center to Centre Island! Taking the Centre Island Ferry is an exciting and unforgettable first time boat-ride for thousands of children each summer.
2. Tour the park aboard the Centreville Train:
If you’ve never been to Centreville before then you’d better make the Centreville Train Station your first stop. The Centreville Train takes you on an 8-minute trip around the park and Far Enough Farm making it the perfect way to get the lay of the land before you start your day.
3. Visit Town Hall: Need to get the scoop on what’s happening in Centreville? Stop in at the Town Hall Guest Services desk. The friendly support team will be happy to answer any of your questions!
4. Race around in the Touring Cars: Put your
little one in the driver seat of Centreville’s Touring Cars! These brightly coloured racers are perfect for young riders. Race alone or with a friend!
5. Search for Centreville’s moose: There’s a lot
of exciting wildlife that is native to Centre Island, but can you spot someone who isn’t? Centreville’s moose is hiding somewhere in the park. Can you find him?
6. Spin around in the Scrambler: No visit to
Centreville is complete without a spin in the Scrambler. This classic carnival ride whirls you around in the dark to the tune of modern pop hits and a flashy light show. One of the most thrilling rides in the park, the Scrambler is guaranteed to make the whole family scream with delight.
7. Cool off at the wading pool: Centreville’s
Wading Pool is action-central during the hot summer days of July and August. It’s the perfect place to cool off during a busy day on the island.
8. Enjoy lunch on Uncle Al’s Smokehouse
Patio: Did you know that there are 14 food outlets in Centreville? Our favourite is Al’s Smokehouse! The bright, sunny patio is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy lunch while watching the Centreville Train pass by.
9. Take a spin on Beasley Bear’s favourite ride:
What’s Beasley Bear’s favourite ride? The Beasley Bear Ride of course! Squeeze the whole family inside and then spin fast or spin slow on this self-propelled ride.
10. Win a prize at one of the Centreville games: Step right up and test your skills at one of Centreville’s midway games! Sink a basket, knock down a clown or win a camel race and you’ll be bringing home a prize.
11.
Get to know Comet, the brand new Zebu at Farm Enough Farm: Head on over to Far Enough Farm and say hello. Comet is a small-sized, South Asian breed. Kids will love getting up close and personal with this sweet and friendly guy (they actually make great pets).
23. Enjoy a ride on one of the Centreville
ponies: Your kids are going to love the cute-as-can-be Centreville ponies. These gentle, sweet and friendly ponies are the heart of Centreville’s Pony Express – one of the most popular attractions for younger riders.
12. Drive your own Fire Engine: The Fire Engines
24. Touch the sky on the windmill-style Ferris
13. Get up close and personal with an Alpaca:
25. Have a family picnic in the park:
are another classic Centreville ride. They’re perfect for young children who will love being able to enjoy the ride all by themselves – they’ll probably also get a real kick of ringing the Fire Engine bells!
Far Enough Farm is home to two sweet and friendly alpacas. An alpaca is similar to a llama, but smaller and a whole lot fuzzier! Their soft and curly hair helps them achieve their cute and cuddly look!
14. Capture a funny family photo: There
are plenty of opportunities to ham it up family-style, including the crazy cut-outs. Be ready to document the first times, funny moments and big smiles that your trip to the island will bring.
15. Bring home a big balloon: Everyone loves
a big, bright, shiny balloon! Now which will it be – Dora, Cinderella or SpongeBob?
16. Paddle around in your very own Swan Boat: Have you ever captained your own Swan before? Well now’s your chance! These electric Swan Boats will take you around the lagoon and are sure to delight!
17. Spend time with Centreville’s mascot
Beasley Bear: Wander around Centreville for an afternoon and you’re sure to run into a big fuzzy bear in a yellow shirt and matching hat. That’s Beasley Bear – Centreville’s mascot! Beasley loves to hand out hugs and high fives, so when you see him be sure to stop and say hello or maybe ask for a picture!
18. Take the family for a Sunday drive in the
Antique Cars: Captaining one of the Antique Cars is a Centreville right of passage. Kids absolutely adore driving the family around in these gas powered Ford Model-T Style cars.
19. Bounce around in the Bumper Boats:
Are you looking for a wild ride? Give the Bumper Boats a try! Cool off as you spin, bump and splash around on this family favourite.
20. Practice your scream in the Haunted Barrel
Works: Calling all brave souls! Centreville’s Haunted Barrel Works is ready to put your scream to the test! Can you make it all the way around without getting scared? The only way to find out is to take a ride on the Haunted Barrel Works.
21. Ride the tiger on the Antique Carousel:
Centreville’s Antique Carousel is the only one of its kind in Canada. Built in 1908, the centuries old Carousel carries a menagerie of 52 beautiful animals, including lions, tigers, horses, ostrich and more!
22. Participate in Centreville’s KidsFest:
Centreville is home to some great summer events, like KidsFest (July 6, 7 & 8 from 11am-4pm). KidsFest activities are free for all to participate in and delivers three full days of free, family fun!
Wheel: One of the best views found on the islands comes from atop Centreville’s windmill-style Ferris Wheel. Fast and fun, the Ferris Wheel is the best way to take in a bird’s eye view of the island.
Surrounded by 600 acres of pristine parkland, you’ll have no trouble finding the perfect picnic spot for your family! Take a break from the hustle and bustle of Centreville’s Town Square to hang out under a shady tree, bask in the suns rays, or ogle at the cityscape.
26. Enter Centreville’s Amusing Race:
Centreville’s Amusing Race is an exciting scavenger hunt that will take you on a journey through the park and farm as you answer trivia questions and overcome “roadblocks.” It’s a great family event that takes place weekends in September (10&11, 17&18, 24&25).
27. Meet an exotic bird: Far Enough Farm is home to a wide variety of bird and animal species. Stroll over to the farm to meet and greet with peacocks, Golden pheasant and more!
28. Take in a fantastic view of Toronto’s
skyline: Have you ever looked at a postcard of Toronto and wished you could take in that beautiful view of the city skyline first hand? Well, you can on Centre Island! There are plenty of places to sit and take in the view, but our favourite is from the deck at Toronto Island BBQ & Beer Co., just around the bend from the Centre Island ferry dock.
29. Plunge down the Log Flume: Thrill seekers
will love feeling the cool island air rush through their hair as they take the 12 meter plunge down the Log Flume. Let’s hope you like heights - if your kids are into this ride, you’ll be going down it more than a few times.
30. Take a family photo beside the Far Enough Farm International Harvester tractor: The tractor at Far Enough Farm is the perfect spot to snap that yearly family photo. Smile and say “Centreville!”
31. Play in the sand and surf at Chelsea
Beach: Take a break from the buzz of Centreville to play in the sand and surf at Chelsea Beach! Located just beyond the bridge, you’ll love soaking up the sun’s rays on this well-protected stretch of beach. Chelsea Beach has a Blue Flag rating (water excellence label) and has a lifeguard on daily duty.
32. Spend quality time with family and
friends: When it comes down to it, a visit to Centreville is all about spending quality time with family and friends. From plunging down the Log Flume to making new friends at Far Enough Farm and splashing around on Chelsea Beach, there are millions of memories to be made on Centre Island. Gather up the gang and ferry over to the island for an unforgettable day of family island fun!

Liberty Entertainment Group Casa Loma – where learning comes to life. Casa Loma is one of Toronto’s premier historic attractions. Originally home to Canadian financier, industrialist, and military officer, Sir Henry Pellatt, the castle offers students a unique and interesting way to experience and learn about the early 20th century. Casa Loma allows students to journey into the past. Our educational guided tours will connect students to the concepts of historical thinking through live interactive experience. In 1911, Sir Henry Pellatt engaged noted architect E.J. Lennox to help him realize a lifelong dream, the creation of an Edwardian castle on the top of a hill overlooking Toronto. It took 300 men nearly three years to complete the nearly to 200,000 square foot castle at a cost of $3,500,000 (at the time). Situated on five acres, Casa Loma was the largest private residence in Canada. Sir Henry Pellatt with his wife Lady Mary enjoyed Casa Loma for less than ten years before financial misfortune forced him to abandon his home. Step back into a bygone era at Casa Loma, Canada’s majestic castle. For more information on Casa Loma and our education tours please visit:

Make Learning Extraordinary at Looking Glass Adventures! Your uncle calls with an urgent message, there has been a break-in at his home, they were after something specific but it wasn’t there. He needs help from your team to get it before it falls into the wrong hands. You only have an hour, so you must be quick... Sounds simple but when you arrive to his office the only light you have is a flashlight and he has set up his office in a series of puzzles to hide this valuable object. Welcome to Looking Glass Adventures. We host a series of ‘escape room’ inspired games located in the heart of Danforth Ave. Close to TTC and accessible for school busses, we can host small to large groups for your next field trip. We host a variety of immersive games in themed rooms as well as mobile games that can either come to you or that you can play onsite. Students will learn to work together by searching for clues, solving puzzles through observation, pattern recognition, math, logic or using their senses. All games are collaborative which requires groups to work, interact and cooperate together. Playing together teaches teamwork, communication and persistence. Best of all, kids don’t know they’re learning — it’s just a fun and memorable time. Allow us to plan a trip for your class or classes. Contact us about our school field trip packages.
Please call Christine at (647) 498-5596 or email info@lookingglassadventures.com for more information.

They can explore the apple orchard, various fruit, vegetable, and grain fields, the sugar bush, and pick their own fruits or vegetables. For the older children, explore a comparison of rural and urban life based on the unique perspective of farmers and farm life in the 21st century. As well, we will discuss the vast technology changes in farming over the years and investigate environmental issues such as climate change and its immense impact on growing food and healthy living. We can create a program that meets your group needs. Our programs can help your young students learn about the pulley systems used in indoor rock climbing or enjoy a day of physical education and health. We can create a program to teach your mature students about the engineering behind the sport, the science that helps the climbers stay safe or the kinesiology to discover the physiological, biomechanics, and psychological mechanisms that take place when rock climbing. Rock climbing is a great sport for everyone, regardless of body type, confidence, or current experience. It is a skill that can help build self-confidence as students surprise themselves at climbing higher than they expected.
We offer over 46 routes with heights varying from 10 to 37 feet.
We have six different bouldering areas, as well as simulated rock faces, chimney climbing, crack climbing, top rope, and lead climbing areas.
