Immerse your Learners in STEM with Pacific Science Center’s Education Programs and Field Trips
DIGITAL DISCOVERY WORKSHOPS
• Educators join your group virtually for 40 minutes of in-depth exploration and real-time interaction
• Choose from thirteen program titles across STEM themes from Astronomy to Zoology
• Enrich your curriculum with programs that support NGSS
SCIENCE ON WHEELS
• Educators travel to you and bring a van full of activities for learning and fun
• Dynamic and interactive live science shows In-depth, exploratory classroom workshops
• A “science playground” of hands-on exhibits
• Available for full day or partial day experiences
I love the fact that our children have access to the type of programming the Pacific Science Center offers. We serve low-income children and families, who would not typically be able to travel to King County to visit the center. It’s a wonderful way to expose children to science concepts that relate to their daily experience.
- Skagit Islands Head Start
For more information on PacSci’s education programs, please email edprograms@pacsci.org.
Does your school serve low-income students? Qualified sites may receive up to 100% of education programs. pacsci.org/education
FIELD TRIPS
• Experience hundreds of hands-on exhibits, including the Tropical Butterfly House, Live Tide Pool, and more
• Live Science Shows and Planetarium Shows Immersive IMAX® documentaries on Seattle’s biggest screen
• Imaginative laser shows set to popular music tracks
[The Digital Discovery Workshop] was the perfect balance of content, experiments, interaction with the students. The class was engaged and interested the entire time. Our program presenter did an amazing job!

Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum
We welcome field trips to the museum for your entire class.
The Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum is the only place in the world where students can see over 9,000 nutcrackers gathered together from all over the world – in different designs and materials and from Roman times to modern day.
A video presentation shows how the popular German nutcrackers are made, and a Nutcracker Hunt (our version of the scavenger hunt) will take them to every niche and cranny of the museum as they hunt for specimens on their age-related list.
And then there is Bavarian Leavenworth waiting to be discovered.

Take a journey …
Showcasing the diversity and innovation of Northwest artists during the pivotal century of 1870-1970. Cascadia Art Museum shares the incredible stories of artists who have shaped our corner of the world.
Cascadia Art for Schools is a free, Washington state standards-based program designed for K-8 students to explore Northwest art. This interactive and inquiry-based program engages students through facilitated dialogue, storytelling, and hands-on art creation. It focuses on learner-centered experiences and highlights historically underrepresented artists. The program fosters thoughtful discussion, close observation, and critical thinking. Students build confidence in forming personal interpretations of art and learn to appreciate diverse perspectives. education@cascadiaartmuseum.org www.cascadiaartmuseum.org/school-programs
