TRANSFERRING FROM DELAWARE TECHNICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE?

DTCC students who graduate with an associate’s degree in one of the active Connected Degree programs and who transfer with a minimum 2.5 GPA may qualify for the $1,000 Connected Degree Scholarship. ARE YOU A NONTRADITIONAL STUDENT?

Nontraditional students, typically defined as those age 25 or older, who have experienced a gap in their education of at least five years since completing high school and who are starting or resuming studies toward their first bachelor’s degree may be eligible for the Osher Reentry Endowed Scholarship or Crankstart Reentry Scholarship. Transfer Credits In addition to transferable college credits, students may be eligible to receive transfer credits from the military, Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) and College-Level Examination Program (CLEP).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS  Applications will be accepted from transfer students who have completed at least 12 college-level credits at a regionally accredited two-year or four-year college or university with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. (If fewer than 12 credit hours have been earned, students must submit their SAT or ACT scores for review.)  Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended must be submitted for admission consideration. (International students must have transcripts from non-U.S. institutions evaluated by the World Education Service (WES) or the Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE).  If fewer than 30 hours of college-level credits have been earned, official high school transcripts or GED scores must be submitted.  Students who have been placed on academic probation, suspended or dismissed from previous institutions cannot be considered for admission to Delaware State University.  Transfer credit will not be awarded to remedial level courses (below college level) from previous institutions.
