Global trends require health care providers, specifically nurses, to come together to address human trafficking, maternal-newborn health, health disparities and inequities, and emerging infectious diseases. Delaware State University is one of the front-runners to assist nurses in obtaining an advanced degree in this emerging area of nursing.

The nursing education concentration provides nurses with the necessary tools to educate future and current nurses by utilizing teachingand-learning theories and strategies within an academic and clinical practice setting. This track will also help to develop skills specific to education such as curriculum development, instructional strategies, learning theory and evidenced-based teaching.
