Educational Leadership (MEd)
This program prepares transformational school leaders through new understandings of 21st century leadership models and frameworks that support diverse, inclusive, equitable, safe and caring learning environments to promote positive school culture.
8-week formats | Evening classes | Online and hybrid
Educational Leadership (EdD)
This program readies culturally responsive, transformational senior-level administrative leaders, policymakers and researchers to design solutions across K-12 institutions, higher education institutions and other educational and civic organizations.
Two concentrations: K-12 and Higher Education | 8-week formats
Cohort model with weekend classes | Online and hybrid
(MA)
This program focuses on advancing social, racial and educational justice. Graduates of the program will be empowered to lead in inclusive schools and generate solutions to persistent inequities in real school contexts.
8-week formats | Hybrid courses with in-person sessions in Wilmington
This program, designed to be completed in two academic years, is for those with a four year degree who wish to become a certified middle or secondary school teacher. Upon completion, our candidates graduate with a “highly qualified” designation by the state of Delaware.
This program provides students with advanced expertise and training on the theory and practice of Teaching English to non-native speakers of English and/or bilingual learners (Bilingual Education).
Dual degree option with Educational Leadership (MEd)
This program is designed to prepare individuals with an earned bachelor’s degree for advancement in their current careers or preparation for careers in government and non-government organizations, think tanks, criminal and juvenile justice systems, nonprofits, public service and/or future doctoral programs.
Two concentrations: Justice and Equity and Crime and Justice
This practitioner-focused program allows students to advance their own careers while also advancing community interests with a focus on civic engagement and community empowerment. Students learn and practice the skills necessary to assess community contexts, engage with community members, identify and build leadership capacities among others, and serve as agents of community change.
