2001 Invaders wrap up great season at Westerns The South Delta 2001 Invaders girls fastpitch team capped a tremendous season with an eighth place finish at the U14 Western Canadian Championships in Winnipeg. The girls’ journey to the Prairies included a first place finish in Lower Mainland League play, along with a pair of gold medals and two silvers in five tournaments over the course of the season. The Invaders finished with an overall record of 61 wins and 17 losses. The team includes: Sophia Janzen, Emma Boyes, Kali Matei, Emma Miller, Nicolle Ilich, Allyson Stewart, Desiree Ilich, Erin Monastersky, Abby Foster, Mekaya Colina, and Shaelyn Claybo. The girls are coached by Lance Claybo, Ron Stewart and Flavius Matei.
