Christmas in the Square! Saturday, November 30 - 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Tree Lightning at 6:30 p.m.

Like a scene taken straight out of a Hallmark Movie, the downtown Village Square will be bustling with holiday delight. Local non-profit group ElkhartCares will transform the village square into a magical Santa’s Village for the children. Visitors will be able to enjoy refreshments from local vendors and treats to help keep them warm while enjoying live entertainment and the sweet sounds of the holiday season. The children will be able to sit on Santa’s lap and visit with a Snow Princess. Horsedrawn carriage rides will also be available. The Village will also hold the traditional holiday tree lighting ceremony to kick off the holiday season in Elkhart Lake.

We love dogs but it has become necessary to make a few changes. Dogs may accompany walkers only, but no dogs are allowed on the 5 mile course. Dogs are no longer allowed in the Middle School building. All dogs must be kept on a non-retractable leash and should be comfortable in large groups and able to be around noise, people and other dogs.
