CHEESE PACKAGER FULL-TIME • 2ND SHIFT NEW STARTING WAGE

Duties: Packaging fresh, ready-to-eat, string cheese into individual and bulk-sized packages, and then boxing the finished, packaged product ensuring that correct labeling and identification information is used throughout the entire packaging process. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; frequently lift up to 25 pounds; constantly walk, stand, bend, twist, reach forward, and use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation. No minimum education required. Scheduled shift will usually start at 2:00 pm and end after all the cheese is packaged (usually about 10 hours). Scheduled shifts are usually Monday – Friday and Saturdays as needed. Hourly wage starting at $19.40. Ability to earn up to an additional $1.00 per hour after eight months.
PACKAGING LINE OPERATOR/ MAINTENANCE
Are you mechanically inclined? Duties: monitoring packaging machines, changing packaging film, and providing maintenance to the packaging machines as necessary to maintain efficient operations within the packaging department. The ideal candidate has the ability to read electrical schematics, but this is not required. Scheduled hours are approximately 2:00 pm to 1:00 am. Scheduled shifts are usually Monday - Friday with some weekend/nonproduction hours expected at various times during the year. Hourly wage starting at $20.55 - $22.55 (based on skills and experience).
PLANT MAINTENANCE
Duties: Maintaining various critical manufacturing and plant operational equipment including boilers, separator, pasteurizer, etc. Responsibilities also include facilities maintenance and extensive preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience with dairy or food manufacturing, sanitary welding, boilers, and strong electrical experience to include VFD and PLC trouble-shooting abilities. Scheduled hours for 1st shift will be 6:00 am – 4:00 pm. Scheduled hours for 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday 5:00 pm to 3:30 am. Hourly wage starting at $24.05.

SANITATION FULL-TIME LATE 2ND SHIFT
Duties: Cleaning the facility, including floors and equipment, which includes CIP (Clean in place) equipment while maintaining high food safety standards. Also, under the supervision of a licensed Cheesemaker, perform manual labor involved in the cheese-making process. This position requires the ability to constantly walk and stand; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; and constantly bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and push. Scheduled shift normally starts no earlier than 4:00 or 5:00 pm and ends around 3:00 am. Scheduled shift is usually Monday – Friday, with some weekend hours expected at various times throughout the year. Hourly wage starting at $20.30.
