Cast Acrylic Sheet Opaque

Our cast acrylic is suitable for laser cutting, CNC machining, line bending and blow moulding. It can also be cut using a plastics cutter or on a bandsaw or scrollsaw. Often used for fabrication, laser engravings, noticeboards and signage and attractive displays.

Materials - Plastic

Cast Acrylic Sheet Clear

High quality clear cast acrylic sheet ideal for laser cutting and forming. Manufactured to a high standard, providing impact and UV resistance, good thermal stability and low water asorption. It is very easy to work with and cast in particular is recommended for CNC machining.

Extruded Mirror Acrylic Sheet

Single sided mirrored extruded acrylic with a mirror foil coating on one side of 3mm clear acrylic. Great for displays, custom mirrors, interior fittings and can be cut on a laser cutter, just ensure you cut the material on the non mirrored side.

Acrylic Rod Light Gathering

Coloured acrylic rods which can be bent and worked as normal acrylic. Colours are lightgathering and fluoresce, this is where light is collected and transmitted to the ends of the rods giving a bright light effect even in daylight.

Polypropylene Sheet

An extremely tough plastic for durable folders, binders, boxes and dispensers. Score before bending to produce a plastic hinge that can be folded millions of times. It is virtually impossible to tear, resistant to water, oil, most chemicals and high temperatures.

You can vacuum extruded acylic!

It requires pre-drying in an oven at a temperature below the softening point and it is recommended that the material is formed immediately after pre-drying for optimum results. Go on, give it a go!

Lead Free Pewter Stick

With a melting point of 240°C, this is an ideal material for teachers to demonstrate casting techniques and processes to make highly detailed items such as jewellery, tankards, coasters, place mats, trays etc. Being non-toxic and totally re-useable it is an ideal material for schools.

Clear PVC film

Food grade sheet supplied in rolls 545mm wide which vacuum forms easily making it ideal for blister packaging and food moulds. Due to the manufacturing process, the weight of a roll will be between 8-10kg.

PETG

Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG) is a transparent, rigid, easy to use material that offers outstanding clarity and thermoforming properties.

Ravatherm

A medium density polystyrene foam block ideal for prototyping. Ravatherm XPS block is fine grain and can be sawn, carved and sanded to shape. It can be glued together using a water based contact adhesive

Foamboard

Lightweight, rigid material which is easily glued, ideal for modelling and display work. Foamboard is an expanded polyurethane core sandwiched between outer layers of paper. It can be glued, folded, bent, interlocked and joined in many ways. The surfaces can be painted and coloured with a wide variety of media.

PVC Foam Sheet

PVC foam sheet has a smooth surfaces and is only half the weight of standard PVC sheet. It is easy to fabricate and is a good alternative to MDF and acrylic sheet.
