Ofce of First-Year Experience

The Ofce of First-Year Experience guides new students through their transition into the Denison community by creating a space to embrace the academic, social, and residential challenges and opportunities embedded in a four-year liberal arts college experience.

The First-Year Experience team leads new students to fnd a sense of belonging, to build confdence in navigating independence, and to become agents of their own well-being and college experience. Through transition programs, students learn to navigate campus, adjust to the rigor of a liberal arts education, and begin to develop a sense of purpose. The frst step is June-O.
