June-O
June Orientation (June-O) is a two-day experience where you will familiarize yourself with Denison, learn about opportunities and campus resources, and meet faculty, current students, and some of your frst-year peers.
All new Denisonians will attend both June-O and Aug-O in the summer before they begin their frst semester at Denison. You will leave June-O with your fall class schedule and will feel more prepared for a successful start when you return to campus in the fall.
All incoming domestic frst-year students will register for one of our fve June-O sessions (four on-campus, one virtual). Students must be available for both days of their session as they will be working with a Faculty Advisor and an Orientation Leader on academic advising and course registration throughout that time.
Up to two parents or adult family members are welcome and are encouraged to attend our concurrent June-O for Families orientation program.
Programs begin at noon on Day 1, and conclude at 12:30 p.m. on Day 2. There is no family programming on Day 2 of the Virtual June-O program.
International students still residing in their native country will register for a Virtual June-O for Students Coming from Abroad session.
Times for all sessions, including virtual sessions, are in Eastern Daylight Time.
