The results are very pleasing considering the amount of time invested–when compared to the traditional method it’s about a 75% time saving.
As a sneak into a possible future, have a look at Figures 39-40. Polyjet Matrix printing can print the denture base and teeth at the same time. High tech stuff!
Printed dentures may not be for everyone but there is definitely a place now and in the future for 3D printing of dentures whether you like it or not. My advice is to get involved somehow before you get left behind.
