Come to Rudy's BBQ for breakfast and get to know our sponsoring Kiwanis club. A new guest speaker will be invited every meeting. This counts as 1 service hour

Bags of Hope Donation Drive October 26-30 Drop off HYGIENE PRODUCTS in Lentz, Herrmann, Bush, or Johnson’s roomand BOOKS to be donated to the Cumberlands Presbyterian Children’s Home. 2 donations = 1 service hour. Max 3 service hours.

GReat American Cleanup

The GAC is the nation's largest community improvement program hosted annually by Keep America Beautiful. Its initiative is to drive people to clean and beautify the environment around them.


On the mornings of October 10 and 17,

Key Clubbers participated in the Great American Cleanup!

During our successful cleanup of trash, we found: - mannequin head - cheese ball container - a pair of sweatpants

- irish springs display case - snake skin - cigarette butts

and many other strange objects!

Every Tuesday, you can pick up ten pieces of trash and earn one service hour! Take a picture and send it to o ne of the DHS Key Club Officers for proof.

Bags of Hope

Governer's Project Geared towards helping the foster care system, members are encouraged to advocate and spread awareness. Service projects include donating care packages to local foster homes. #bagsofhope Members went to the local Zera's coffeeshop to create and write cards for bags of hope. Thanks to all of your lovely service work!

On October 28, 12 Denton High Key Club members were able to attend the Kiwanis Breakfast Meeting on the train. It was a first time on a train for many of us. At 6:10am, we met up and boarded the train with cup of coffee and Rudy's breakfast burritos in hand. Members were able to listen to the train's engineer and security guard guest speakers and learned more about how this transportation works.

Discuss a time when your participation in a service project changed your perspective or taught you something new. Are there any holiday-themed events/activities that your club is planning on participating in? Describe in detail. Write about an event that either formed or strengthened your bonds with other members, relating your story to one of Key Club’s core values (leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness) Submit a Humans of Texas Oklahoma! How was your Key Club Experience and what is Key Club to you? Submit with a picture of you. Write an article about anything relating to Key Club.

Raises funds and awareness to provide treatment to children across the U.S. and Canada.Â

A nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies.

A youth movement aiming to provide safe drinking water to communities where it's not readily available. The Eliminate Project works to protect babies and mothers worldwide whose lives are endangered by maternal and neonatal tetanus.

2020-2021 Texas Oklahoma District Key Club Project

Children of the future Project that aims to help creating a better future for children within our district and aiding the foster care system. Raising awareness, donations, hosting drives/fundraisers, and volunteering are all ways members of key club can help.
