Eliminate Painting Project JULY 25TH, 2019 On July 25th, Denton High School's Key Club secretary, Kate Crawford, teamed up with DHS' NHS to put together a service opportunity for the members of both clubs to get some summer service hours. An opportunity that contributes to the Eliminate Organization, which has helped eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus in many countries. The Eliminate Project is made possible through Kiwanis International and UNICEF. For this volunteer opportunity students helped paint cardboard cutouts of 46 different countries, where maternal and neonatal tetanus is eliminated or is close to being eliminated. The cardboard cutouts will be presented at the Embassy Suites in Denton, Tx, on Friday, August 2nd, from 11:30Am-2:30PM. Thank you to all the people who showed up to paint the cardboard countries and hope you all have a great rest of the summer!
