KEY CLUB - Newsletter Official Newsletter of the Denton High School Key Club

"As president, I will do my best to listen to the members and make this club about them. Our focus will be on service and improving our community, but in a way that every member will enjoy. I plan to have more incentives and opportunities to get involved this year, so that students who are not a part of Key Club yet can see how much fun we have and will want to join us in service. This will be an amazing year and I can't wait to see how our club improves. Top 25, here we come!" - Emily Young (Denton High Key Club President)

DCON 2019 2018-2019 This years Texas-Oklahoma DCON was a success! This was the 70th annual DCON, so to celebrate, the theme was "Groove into Service", with all things 70's. Our members had a blast, with meeting other members from the Texas-Oklahoma district, learning new things about Key Club and their positions, or just goofing around and having fun. DCON offered many fun activities for the members to interact with, like blow-up obstacle courses, a talent show, official board elections, and much more.

"If service is beneath you, then leadership is beyond you."

Along with the fun activities DCON had to offer, there was a competition ranking all the Key Clubs, we got 24th, out of more than 300!
