May your blessings be many, and your troubles be few, may you find special treasures and make friends anew. May your families be enriched with the favor of God, and may you see His great wonders wherever you trod. My heart brings many things to you today, but I want to share someone with you and honor him in a special way.

His representation of Christ and the CMA ministry to all the world and especially to the motorcycling community, has left a legacy in the lives of his family, his CMA family, his HD family, his church family, and in the lives of the many people who had the opportunity to meet him even one time, for to have met Marty Binion was to have loved him. Marty, thank you for believing in us as we journeyed through the ranks with you, the encouragement and gentle harassment now and then has been a blessing to us, not to mention the continuous laughter you brought to the table!
This is January to you, but right now we are still in the midst of a December that I will not soon forget. In one week, we have experienced the passing of eight people…8 people! Sounds like a bit much doesn’t it? Well, it is, however, I know where they are and if you asked them, they would not want to come back! That’s the hope we have in Christ Jesus…an eternity of Life!
Ride on my dear Brother, you will be missed. And while you are waiting on the rest of us to get there….don’t mess with my stuff, we all know how curious you can be!
So back to my subject of honor….his name is Marty Binion, you may have known him. He’s the guy who always carried his firearms with him wherever he went…no, seriously…he had flames tattooed on both arms, so he always carried his ‘firearms’. Yep, that’s the kind of guy he was. Never a dull moment with Marty around. He had a personality that shined out to others and a heart that was twice as bright. He could sell you a Harley when you didn’t even know you were looking to buy one! But he would also give you the shirt off his back if you needed one.
Thank you all for allowing me to share my friend with you…May the New Year be all you hope it to be!

Marty was a longtime CMA member. He served in the local Lima chapter, then served as an Area Rep for the Northwest region of Ohio. The first CMA meeting that Rex and I ever attended was at his home with his wife, Andra. That was where I knew this was the right ministry for us! He was out on the quad ripping around his back yard having a high old time and just being his self, which meant a lot to me because I had been around a lot of phony people and had no idea what to expect, but God had brought us there, so we just had to trust Him. With that, we soon saw that Marty was the real deal. He loved Jesus, shared Jesus, enjoyed the ministry of CMA, shared CMA, served with all he had wherever he went. He didn’t bang you with the Bible, he lived
