Magical Forest

At the opportunity village they had an event where you could go volunteer for some hours. As soon as we got there we were split jobs/roles as to what we would be doing for the rest of the shifts duration. I was there alongside my two other friends, we had to work as cooks to serve the people at this event. I felt as if this gave me future experience for jobs I might want in recent years following around what I did there as a reference. Something I found interesting was how stressful it could be working as a cook in the kitchen when it’s packed.

Lyrik Toverada| 9 The Santa Run with Opportunity Village was a blast! I had fun cheering along with many diffrent groups. Love the postive vibes coming from everyone. All the diffrent santa oufits from old to young people had their diffrent style that really made the event pop. Even though it was cold we still all showed out to help.

Trail Clean Up

This event was both incredibly fun and also a reality check really telling us how helpful key club is. During this event we cleaned up around the trail and almost any possible thing u could think of it was there, whether it was a pillow, mattress, or a case of gushers they had it. This showed me that key club is having fun while saving the community, i’ve never experienced anything like cleaning up springs preserves trail and it was a memorable experience i will cherish.

Jasmine Kizilkaya | 10

The springs preserve trail cleanup was super fun! I enjoyed spending time with my friends while cleaning the place. It was very enjoyable and we found very interesting items! I would love to do this again!

Food Distribution Volunteering at the ACDC Warehouse Food Distribution was a very fun and interesting experience. My role specifically was to direct traffic and assign cars to their lanes. Going to this event allowed me to meet other people and make new connections. So, I think this event was very nice and a very good opportunity to attend.

November DCM The November DCM was super fun!! They went over the old and new business as usual and I always find it really cool what other clubs are up to and what service events or fundraisers they are doing. There was also a dlt-dares fundraiser and it was funny pie-ing our DLT and LTG, Izzy. There was also other creative dares and it was a super fun way to raise money for charities!

Olivia Nguyen | 10

Catherine Nguyen | 11

The November DCM was a super fun event! This DCM we got to pie the DLT which included Izzy, our LTG, and Diviyana from our own home club. We pied her like 10 times in a row which was definitely the highlight of the event. Overall, it was a really enjoyable event as we got to have fun with bingo dares and learn about important news about the division!

December DCM The December DCM was super fun!! This was my 5th DCM this term and it was a region 5 joint dcm. It was super cool to meet the other clubs in our region and bond with other key clubbers! The icebreakers were super cool and our division also hosted a bake sale!! which looked super yummy. I would definitely recommend more members attend them in the future!

Olivia Nguyen | 10 December DCM was SO FUN. There was a bake sale and we sold apple twists and strawberry cake, which I made! It was a joint DCM so I got to see all my friends from all the other divisions. We made baby hats and it was really confusing and complicated because the link to the instructions wasn't working... BUT hey it was super fun and I also won DLT member of the month!!! I highly recommend going to joint DCMs since they're so funzies.
