18.32.010. Purpose. ThepurposesoftheMultipleUseAgriculturalZonearetopreservetheruralcharacterofvarious areasoftheCountywhilepermittingdevelopmentconsistentwiththatcharacterandwiththe capacityofthenaturalresourcesofthearea;topreserveandmaintainagriculturallandsnotsuitedto full-timecommercialfarmingfordiversifiedorpart-timeagriculturaluses; toconserveforestlands forforestuses;toconserveopenspacesandprotectnaturalandscenicresources;tomaintainand improvethequalityoftheair,waterandlandresourcesoftheCounty;toestablishstandardsand proceduresfortheuseofthoselandsdesignatedunsuitableforintensedevelopmentbythe ComprehensivePlan,andtoprovideforanorderlyandefficienttransitionfromruraltourbanland use.
